I followed Johnny from the Crests onward. I saw the Brooklyn Bridge in S Jersey and also Johnny at concerts in Woodbridge, NJ. Such a great singer, and not sure if He’s still not in the Hall of Fame. RIP Johnny Maestro!
Absolutely! Johnny not only had a spectacular singing voice but he also was a great performer on stage. Every audience just loved Johnny as well as Fred and Les, his background vocalists. In fact, the entire Brooklyn Bridge ensemble behind Johnny were musicians and performers of the highest quality. All in all, a fabulous group with a masterful leader out front.
From the multiple camera angles and quality sound, this is not an amateur recording but possibly contracted by the venue or the group. So well done spotlighting the guys the guys both collectively and individually.
I was with johnny On all of his performances, he was my personal friend. I will miss him passed away 2 years ago I think RI. P. His house was in staten islanew york
