Girder Music has done it AGAIN! These two albums were sold as a combo in 1991 and it is nearly impossible to find. The Grr Records re-issue is even harder to find. If you find them they are going to be EXPENSIVE. Now, not only can you get them, but you can get them for under $20 each. In this video I compare them to the original vinyl and cassettes, and I also compare them to the 1991 remasters done by Denny Purcell. Let me tell you, Rob Colwell and Scott Waters outdid themselves on this project. To take something nearly 50 years old and give it new life, color, and sound is simply incredible. They are remastered, and as always the artwork is simply on another level! They also come included with collector cards. The links to these and their entire Rez (to include some excellent color vinyl on other titles) library is linked below. Excellent review!! You have totally schooled the public on these two Rez Band classics. Greg, Scott and Rob always do premium work. They pull out all the stops. I love how you showed us a great example of all the different formats. Cutting edge work.
Great video! I have those on order from Girder. Rez is one of my favorite bands. I'm hoping this will be on vinyl but I think when a reissue is done on CD and depending on how well it sells will dictate if it will be on vinyl.
Unfortunately sound quality is going to be a bit opinionated. It would be good to hear sound samples to compare. Personally I'm a bit of a purist and would rather a proper remaster be done from the master tapes or else in most cases just leave it the way it was done originally. :-)
I can’t play sound bytes because of copyright issues. However Girder’s RUclips page has samples of all his remasters. I happen to think the Girder remasters would have been much better had they gotten the Grrr releases, but I’m sure they got whatever they could. Still sounds amazing and being able to get them for under 20 dollars is pretty great!

I agree. Having these on vinyl would be amazing.
I have the double album/combo CD
I had it and gave it to a friend. It’s pretty tough to find.
Scott helpd with the Graphics of it. Janet Cameron did the art.
No one is crediting Scott with the original artwork. It is the improvement of the colors.
