Hey everybody! Quick little intro guide for Byleth. If there's a demand I'll do a more in depth scripted one, but this should help anybody get started! Leave any questions for me in the comments! Oh and the reason this is a beginner's guide and not a "beginner to advanced," we don't know advanced tech yet and there's absolutely things to discover, this is just a little 15 min video to get people started!
Another thing about her side b: If you tap the direction, you'll lunge forward. If you don't, you'll stand still while you throw out the move. Useful for sweet spotting at closer range.
Wanted to get out a little resource to help some people out who don't have the time to lab it up with the character, still crazy looking forward to all the stuff people discover in the coming weeks
This is an unpopular character because of how Nintendo rolled it out. But it is undeniable how powerful Byleth truly is...It is like Sakurai is playing a sick joke on the SSBU community by making unpopular characters, pushed by Nintendo overpowered. While the popular characters that the fans want are created with major flaws. Or are quickly nerfed shortly after release... I am going to wait on buying the next dlc fighter pack. I’m tired of Nintendo politics dealing with their fighter releases.
The 0 to death only works on DK and you can go it up to 3 percent, I tried on all the heavies and other bigger fighters and they all get auto DIed downwards except for DK so I'm going to suppose that it will get patched out
Not a direct comparison since I have no way of directly capturing footage from pre-7.0. But I am going to talk about it for sure. This video went up earlier than expected so expect the Cloud buff video tomorrow
Cuz it’s a beginner’s guide with basic tips. As far as I’ve tested, dtilt-UpB works consistently, but considering what game this is there may be some specific thing that stops it so I don’t want to talk in absolutes
@@tgtkai the problem is that *everyone* makes day 1 guides, and they all become obsolete by a week later. Having some day 1 guides is good, but finding an *actual* byleth guide now a days? Impossible

10:02 if your opponent is high percent you should go for fully charged down smash because it's stronger and they can't mash out

Why make a guide when you don't know if something combos or not? Or get someone else to di to try it out first?
Cuz it’s a beginner’s guide with basic tips. As far as I’ve tested, dtilt-UpB works consistently, but considering what game this is there may be some specific thing that stops it so I don’t want to talk in absolutes
