  • I drop my 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth off at German Motor Works so that the Car Ninja can sort it out.
This is the first and only Ford that's ever been in his shop but he was more than happy to allow it in since he fell in love with these cars while driving one during the time he lived in Italy. Since then this has been his 'Holy Grail' car.

First Ford in his shop, but do not forget, they were designed and built in Germany.... So German Motorworks is still right..... ;-)

Wonderful. I'm so happy I just can't stop grinning watching this. This really is Holy Grail stuff, especially for Brits in my age bracket ;)
That is a great car with a very beautiful engine. Please treat it like proper rude boys.

I think the Sierra Cozzie had a Mustang 5-speed transmission from the day - so the shifter knob is actually very appropriate!

    I have 4 Cossies !
White, Moonstone and a black all RS’s, non RS500’s. I also have a Saphire.! They’re all mint, and they’re all 1:18 models, I wish they were real !
I have to get one to FL before they’re all gone. My fav or all time. Saw my first at 17 in 1986. I was slack jawed

I can tell by your face you’re happy to have Johnny work on it but don’t want to let it out of your sight.
Just finished putting the head back together on my 93 Audi S4. She’s a ripper again. I couldn’t imagine the burden of such a fleet. It’s great and stressful at the same time
Looking forward to it being road worthy to Rip

I took a turn around Winton Raceway in a Sierra Cosworth mocked up as a Shell racing (DJR) car, I had a Mk II Escort rally car at the time set up for dirt with a similar but NA twin cam Pinto engine and wasnt really familiar with Tarmac and race lines etc and this Cosworth was a phenomenal car with the signature DJR touches added by the owner.
Drive it like you stole it was my instruction and by the 2nd lap I stayed on boost as the Track at the time was quite narrow and suited the chassis well.
I can see why Jonny has his patented Z8 smile on his face like meeting an old dear friend......
    Love it :-)
