      That's a pretty normal way of saying it. Don't make it sound like the person he got the dog from was shit. Some things actually happen that make it where you have to give something up like a dog. Doesn't mean they were bad just means they couldn't give the dog what it needs

    • @Rip_Ripple

      I feel that the family expected the typical pet category Rottweiler but they got a proper high drive Rottweiler, something i aim to buy. Something similar happened to a friend who got a working line gsd.....but couldn't handle the dog. They have him away to the police force then.

Had 2 Rotties and 1 was definitely aggressive while the other was more relaxed but both were stubborn yet fun to work. Great to see and hear your breakdown of the breed. I had a rottweiler and he was 130 - 140lbs. Looking at Luca, I realy like his smaller, more agile frame. I would like to see that body type become a more common option when it comes to rottweilers. I think it greatly improves the dog. All the great qualities and stopping power of a rottweiler with the agility and speed of a malinois. I use to have a hard time getting my rottie into the car. Had to pick up his hind legs. Also saw some one else with a rottie doing the same thing. Luca's athletic but with the stopping power of a heavy weight. There's no way my rottie could run and jump like that. I exercise him a lot and he never had the speed or jumping ability Luca has. Thats cool! Awsome dog!

    • @soobwon
      @soobwon 2 года назад

      YES! It's so nice seeing Rottweilers that are just a tad bit smaller, but still holds as much power. People nowadays are ruining the breed, making their head way bigger, or their snouts shorter.

    I’ve had a couple of Rottweilers, my all time favorite breed. I’m surprised a rottie can compete with a malinois in agility. I never had a problem with stubbornness, but a never taught through pressure. My uncle was a real horse whisperer and taught his horses by ‘gentling’ them. Let their love for you compel them. Let your time together in joy, compel them

    That rottweiler is in amazing shape. Good to see one how it is supposed to be, not like alot of them that are simply overweight

    I love both breeds, but in truth we both know what this is, Apple's and Oranges both breeds have great skill sets BUT it is unfair to compare them, as they are very different dogs. Each with their own unique strengths. Thank you.

      What a way to put it, perfect. One is pure speed one is pure power. It really is all about what you want the dog to do

      @monu2619993 You're right about breed standard, but the Rott in the video is very, very small. 75lbs. is a big pitbull and a dwarf Rottweiler.

      monu2619993 no one use the India breed standards Germany and USA breed standards a rot should be between 110 and 130

      Gunman 2177 a dog should be functional first & foremost . Whether he’s over 100 pounds or not doesn’t matter and most of if not all of the dogs that weigh 100+ pounds can’t outwork him . They’re probably far more likely to be heat-sensitive , slower and less agile than Luca .

    My mal was a rescue but I think he was used in bite work as he knows what a tug and catch pillow are. When I had an aggressive relative come in the house without permission yelling and threatening he jumped with in to protect me, he brought him down and kept him there until I called help

    My two favorite breeds! I currently have a malinois mix and am looking for another Mal. In a year or two I pray for a rottie while my husband prays for a cane. We will see what the universe brings us. Toround out the sizes every house needs a dachshund, toughest dog in the world.

    soooo nice that you don't strictly stay on the sport side but you work real scenarios as well, I wish all trainers would do the same and protection dogs would explode in to the whole new world. Sport training ONLY, leads to the a potential that vary from true guard and defence dog to a dog that ONLY pretends guarding and defense and THE ONLY THING CARES ABOUT IS TO PLAY WITH A RUG SLEEEVE And flight away when a real threat appears. Going in to realistic scenarios though will ensure that the dog NOT ONLY HAS THE DRIVES(defense, fight, courage, confidence) REQUIRED FOR GUARD AND PROTECT JOB but also is trained how to deal better with it. Once again good for you my friend.
