Watched John Miles as support for Robin Trower at the Manchester Free Trade Hall back in February 1976. Two very different artists, both were brilliant in their own way. Still remember this concert nearly 50 years on. RIP John Miles.
I was just 13 years old when this record came out at a children's home in Cheltenham and this record came on the radio in my social workers car on the way home to my mum gran and brother in Havant Hampshire near Portsmouth I first heard it then and have loved it since.
There are actually people who don't listen or like music at all. I met someone who doesn't like music. Sounds crazy but there are some but not many people.
I loved this the first time i heard it in 1976 on Top of the Pops and actually watched this live then and played on Radio 1, i always loved it and still do, so glad it is still available to listen too on here, I always thought it was never given the credit it deserved and John was so talented.

Yes, there are a lot of them, but most of the new, really talented musicians are usually non-mainstream musicians who cannot be found on traditional music channels on radio or TV. This is the problem. Currently, good music can be found mainly on Spotify, YT and other streaming services.
I remember this song as a teenager. Reached No 3 in the Uk charts, if I remember, right. Now being a old fart. I love it even more. R.I.P John. your the best xxx
