Lol, I was going to say I hope you've got something to keep your feet warm. I've got the ECWCS lvl 7 stuff and its awesome at keeping you warm even well below freezing...except feet and face lol. Great pieces of kit.
As far as suggestions go, it depends on if you have to keep boots on or not. If you do than getting a pair of the ECWCS pants that are long enough to leave unzipped a bit to overlap your boots down to the sole. I know that doesn't help much if long sizes are what you normally wear though. If you don't have to wear boots than combine the above with a small sack (drysack works fine), stick your feet in it, tuck the pant legs in then shove some extra clothes in and do the sack buckle to help hold it on while you sleep. Basically makes a mitten with your pants and the sack.
Not that you don't deserve the likes and comments for the algorithm on other vids, but you definitely earned them for this one. 😁👍

Thanks for the input! Yeah these pants were already "medium-long" but definitely didn't cover even my ankles properly. This goes to show why it's important to always carry those little one use heating pads, would've been great for this test as well.

@@TaivalOutdoors I tried the single use heat pads that are shaped like insoles on one of those boots have to stay on nights, kept the bottom of my feet warm but it still wasn't enough to get all around so my toes, the top half of my feet and ankles still got cold. Those heaters wouldve worked though if I'd been able to stuff them, some clothes and my feet into a sack.

Try to do the same with FDF Pakkastakki, Pakkashousut and boot liners and compare them with the gear you used in this video.

I had the exact same issue when using ECSW pants and jacket. I even tried adding some down booties, but it was just not warm enough for me. Nothing beats proper dedicated sleep system.

Yeah, keeping feet warm is a tough problem to solve when staying put!

You have a dog that can warm your feet. You can also stuff your feet in a backpack or clothes you don't use.

Dog sleeps where he wants, not where I want 😅 You're right about that backpack, but I doubt an empty backpack would've made a ton of difference.

@@TaivalOutdoors You can solve both of these problems by putting dog and your feet in the backpack.

Maybe your lovely dog could lay over your feet to keep them warm
