Obtaining the correct stopping power is an essential upgrade when adding horsepower to your Focus St. So, if you've already upgraded your front brakes (M2300W), finalize that custom style on your 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 or 2018 Focus ST with this rear brake kit.
Luckily for you, this rear brake kit from the automotive masters at Ford Performance is now available with top-of-the-line brake pads. The included brake pads were originally found on the RS, so this rear brake kit is not only a superior brake pad upgrade over your stock, but it also adds that killer blue RS color for your ST. Including all the required hardware, rear calipers, rotors, pads and hoses, you’ll be stopping on a dime in no time.

I like that you listed the required tools up front. However, it would have been better if you specified which socket was needed for which step. I assume the E12 reverse torx socket is used for the caliper pins/bolts and that socket will be needed even if just the pads are getting replaced.

Never understood why not just remove the two bolts on the caliper it removes the entire caliper without having to split into two pieces the pads have no pressure onto the rotor ?

ikr? Some of these videos are off. The gtx turbo install had errors in it. Many followed and it blew up their car.

Is it normal for the rotor to look like that at the edge with the rust and the grooves in it, I keep having this problem with my 14’ Focus ST, the rotor isn’t clean and smooth and I’ve replaced them twice

Sonicaceman yup. Nothing rubs on that part so rust and dust accumulates.

I know rotors are going to rust, my question is Why do I keep getting a rust ring on the outer edge of rotor where the pad surface is supposed to be hitting it and cleaning that rust off, sliders have been greased multiple times, is this defective caliper, cheap materials or from lack of use, my fronts have never done this just back discs on this car, or is this a bad design from Ford?

Cause the pad doesn’t hit the very edge of the rotor. That’s why, after many miles, people develop a lip on the outermost edge of the rotor.

Some reason my st has small brake disk. Do I need to modify or drill holes for this to fit?

Please tell me the answer to my question. I have a Ford Escape II. It's based on Focus. I don't have enough regular brakes. There is a desire to install a reinforced Brembo kit for RS. I have three questions: Is there any effect from this kind of work? No need to intervene to replace the main brake cylinder and vacuum booster? Can you tell me the size of the rear tomosal disk RS? Thank you, I will be glad to answer.

Why doesn't this work with the 2012 Focus? It's still an MK3 Focus.

Disc is same 271mm , If you want a 302mm brake disc this must be a brake disc from volvo v70 (302mm)plus rear Bracket Calipers with Mazda 5 (2005-2008.05)

Thank you - you answered the main question on whether these were cosmetic upgrades (ignoring the point on pads) and I couldn't find that clearly anywhere else :)
