Nope. Someone has died on it before and that WAS the parks fault. But not that the kid fell, the parents took the kid on it knowing that he was too young and small the ride wont get closed down because mainly THIS TIME it was the parents fault
I remember when i went on this the seatbelt was broken and the worker said its fine and it wasnt needed, i also remember feeling like i apmost fell out multiple times
Before people start saying how bad the ride is and ooh it looks dangerous... it was reported the 7 yr old was hanging off the back of it (sounds like he was messing around on it before falling - the Mum was with him apparently)
Thank you some one who understands it I'm on the same side as u saying that the kid was messing about I've been reading some of the comments and some of them a so stupid
@@miajeffreys4004 The fact you are only sure in your own mind that she was sensible only serves to show the lack of proof. They will look into what he was doing before fault is announced, I say wait for that.
I went to Lightwater Valley for my birthday. I went with my parents, brother and my friend. This was generally my favourite ride. (Expelling The Ultimate as that was sick) But seriously anyone who lives close to here or at least in England should go there. Its incredible.
I went on a ride called The Wild Mouse at a travelling fair in Teignmouth in Devon that was identical in every detail - same fair is also Bridgwater Fair! First ever rollercoaster I ever went on was the similarly-named Mad Mouse at Seaton Carew - thought I was going to fall right off the track near the start!
Omg this is amazing I can't believe I almost chickend out to go on it lol it's a really good ride for people who don't really like be rides but tbh I did get bashed into my friends a lot when we twisted
I grew up with the ladybug. Weird seeing videos of lwv because I’ve probably been in every cart on the twister, what used to be called “the trauma tower”, lady bug, etc. Its so weird seeing places I’ve spent years at with millions of views on the internet.
I have been to lightwater valley 4 times, but not once did I ever ride the twister. I have an idea of what it was like since I have been on the crash test at ocean beach. Now it is closed because of the boy falling out, plus the 2002 crash probably adds to it. It is sad to see it go from the park and hopefully they will get another family coaster some time soon.
i've been on this coaster before (different name at a different park) and i really don't know how you're meant to fall. kid probably didn't have safety on properly or kept trying to get out.
This ride will be shut down for sure because of saftey flaws in the restraints. Took my 6 year old lad on the one in Skegness last year 'RocknRoller' and he loved it but I was holding onto him with dear life as the ride is propper jerky and you move around a lot in your seat even as an adult. I would imagine it will effect all the twister variants. There's one at Alton towers too. Pin ball wizard I think it's called. Good luck to the poor child who fell, hope he recovers to tell the story.
Is this ride good. Now you might laugh cuz I have not being on this ride YET! But I'm never scared and when I were on a school trip I could not go on it cuz all 5 teachers were moning cuz we just had lunch so it will make us sick and when we went back like 15 mins later the ride had broke ekkk
BethyBooTwo I hate rollacoasfers and I'm scared of heights but I actually went on this ride 2 but all my friends (who love upside down rides and that stuff) said it made them to dizzy and they didn't like it 😂
This is the biggest and only rollercoaster ive ever been on and on the spinning section i hit my head and cryed for the rest of the ride. A year after i rode it a woman was killed on it and then last year a little boy fell out of it. I wouldn’t recommend it.
jazzandtapioca1 update: I rode it a long time ago and made me like rollercoasters. However that was with my friends and i wanted to ride it again, as due to my dislike of rides I never rode one with my brother- and I wanted to spend time with him as he loves rollercoasters I really liked it and made me want to go back. The weekend before the date we were expected to go, the incident with the boy occurred. Personally I loved this ride, and i understand why people dislike it. It is the biggest ride I rode at the time and made me appreciate rollercoasters, and have since rode the Ultimate. It’s for some people and not for others.
It's a wild mouse that spins... No shit you get whiplash. Also, it's not the rides fault the kid fell out, it's both his own fault and the operator who let him on as he couldn't have been tall enough if he could wiggle out of the restraint
The Twister used to be called Treetop Twister. In 2001, less than a year after its opening, Treetop Twister killed Gemma Savage. Faulty wiring meant that it was possible for 2 cars to collide which resulted in fatal head and neck inuries (although she died in hospital rather than immediately). Somehow, the coroner recorded this as 'Death by misadventure' which is an utterly insulting verdict because it implies that Gemma was doing something reckless by going on a theme park ride. In fact, properly maintained and with full staff training and downtimes for repairs NO theme park ride should EVER kill a healthy individual.
When people rename a coaster, and make it their own😑 it's basically taking credit for the original design, or the person who created it. If you had permission to do so that's fine, but if not shame on you.
Why are people saying this is wildmouse from blackpool? Wildmouse is much more painful and completely different, similar layout, but doesn't turn or anything.
It's safe the kid who fell off the ride was stupid and somehow got out of the bar and seat belt holding u in and whent on the back of the cart its safe to go on I've been on it before
You spin me right round baby right round like a record baby right round round
i bet they shut this down now that someone has fallen from it
Yeah it's shocking
Doubt it someone died a month after it opened and its still going
Begs the question, who the hell would take a 6 year old kid on it? It's a violent ride, you need to hold on!
Nope. Someone has died on it before and that WAS the parks fault. But not that the kid fell, the parents took the kid on it knowing that he was too young and small the ride wont get closed down because mainly THIS TIME it was the parents fault
It actually broke down last time i was there for my 11th birthday luckily no one died on that day!
Who else is here because they heard a kid fell off it
Kira Drama Me. Probably their own fault as I can’t see this ride having shoulder bars so they probably got free from it.
Kira Drama 𝚢𝚞𝚙!
Me I came to see how they could have fallen out. I'm thinking he was messing about after seeing which one it is
I am

c'mon kid, you can pull through this, stay strong. One love
Just came here to see how the kid fell out today and well.. I can see how looks err great
same!
same
Same lol
Same here 6 seems a bit to small to get on this. I thought there would be height restrictions we will find out on the news later.
CJ Rayza this ride is not scary all of you are pussy,s this ride is so babyish 4 year olds could go on it
Who else has been on this ride before and heard the news of the kid falling off?
NiftyZakPlayz me
Literally two days before the accident 😕
NiftyZakPlayz u didn’t know a kid fell off and this is my favourite ride- Yh I’m a puss and hate massive rides
@@avaxx2107 if u go again, try ultimate its fun but really painful on your knees
NiftyZakPlayz alright
I rode on this last year and I literally thought the ride was gonna fly off from the sharp curves
Someone did fall off

I love this I've been on it 2 times
going to lightwater valley in just over a week with school whole park for us... cant waitt
This coaster looks fun.
Went on this twice worth the wait
they didn’t shut it down after a kid fell out as it wasn’t the park’s fault or the ride’s fault, the kid stood up i believe, despite warnings not to.

There is one of these in the EDGE of Brighton pier. It looks like you are about to plunge into the water every time you turn a bend
This is literally my favourite ride at light water valley (and the ultimate) ❤️

He is in a critical condition
This is at Skara Sommarland now

I got stuck on that ride
This is the ride that smashed my phone! I still loved it and went on it again though 😂
THAT DOES NOT LOOK SAFE OML
The ride has now closed
Multiple people have died in accidents on this ride in the past
And again in 2019.
It reminds me of the Crazy Mouse roller coaster on Blackpool South Pier.

Wow, those actually existed? I have only seen one of those in video games like Theme park or RCT, lol.
