Confession: I never even saw the movie but I come back to re-watch this reaction every so often. The progression from curious to horrified never fails to make me LOL.

@Richard Carte The stage play, how are you going to model the difference of a female cat and a male cat, So he had them in skin tight suits that were painted to look like fur, while having tails and a mane... that's at least a reasonable way of portraying a cat from a human shape... while this is just not right, you have realistic fur with unrealistic other parts that aren't on the body of a cat, realistic movement of tails and ears but yet the females have skin suit boobs etc... the least they could have done was more like mistique from the first xmen... where the effects are along with the body and not added to it.
The nearly 20 seconds of silence after the trailer ended was GOLD! 😂😂😂😂

Honestly this trailer is freakier than IT Chapter 2. All that Sonic level CG, man.
The question is, if the Internet makes a big enough uproar (pun intended) will they go back and fix the CG? We ‘saved’ Sonic. Could this be saved along similar lines?
This was a Broadway play, made into a movie, so that's probably why they're cats that walk on two legs, and have human faces....but I heard Jennifer Hudson and I was sold, lol 🤣

I would think the reason that Wicked isn't a movie is because it is still on Broadway. Why would people go to the musical when you can see it in a movie theater and soon after that own it.

I totally hate this trailer and movie too. It made me CRINGE! I can’t stand musicals as it is, but this one is laughably bad and just ridiculous! They spent $100 million on this movie and it’s made $17 million so far. HUGE FLOP! Lmao

Google any version of "cat anthro" "cat person", or hell, go on DeviantArt, ArtStation, or directly to FurrAffinity, and you'll get countless, beautiful drawings of anthropomorphised animals by talented artist. Thought what we see of the cat Taylor is... it' fine, I guess.
It freaks me out because i get goosebumps because of the brilliant song "memories" but i cringe sooo bad because of the CGI -.- Why did they just do the broadway show makeup?!? That would be perfect. I really love the musical, some dance scenes it are just pretty amazing, through the roof and soooo good, but i will NOT watch this movie.
Even the furries hated this abomination. I think the fur covered noses really puts the nail in the coffin. If there was just a cat nose & mouth, or just a furry on the design team, *this* could've been fixed.
It's like a elderly man tried to direct porn for furries, except they have no clue about what a furry even is.

I found this whole trailer terrifying. The whole thing. Even Cat-ler Swift gave me the creeps. The cat butt, sorry but I didn't like it. I hated everything. This trailer inspired me to want to write a song about how we are all going to die and the end of the world is eminent. That's how I feel.

Short break, I know, but I missed you guys. With that said, this was scarier than the new It Chapter 2 trailer. Jennifer Hudson's costume looked like a 3rd grader made it. I predict this movie will NOT have nine lives.
Watching this back and year and a half later...still can't get over how Adam looks like he's getting painful surgery while watching this and Jay is his best friend watching from afar in horror.
I love that the Rebel Wilson part of the trailer has yet to get a single smile or laugh in every reaction video I've seen so far. Like myself, some reviewers wince during that part. I don't know how much longer her loose improv and slapstick will take her in her career but I would have hoped it stopped years ago.

I saw the stage show and it was the worst show I’ve ever seen. It has no plot, no driving force, no NOTHING. It was excruciating.
Somehow, I think the movie will top that.
