I had the pleasure of owning a 1999 ITR DC2 here in Melbourne (Australia).... in which I clocked up 165,000 kms (from new) & enjoyed 13 track days during my 5.5 years of driving nirvana. I was utterly addicted to the VTEC scream of the B18C engine, the wonderfully slick gearbox, dynamic handling & complete package of Honda engineering. Even 17 years on & after driving many higher spec cars, the memories of the DC2 remain as some of my best driving experiences ==> I would buy another one anytime!

I miss My ITR , the car scream like a bike after 6500 rpm . This car has such aggressive valvetrain ,that the car sound like its over work driving in traffic but its normal and Damn when you hit the gas its a demon . One of the best front wheel drive car ever .
It's nice to see that these dc2 Type R are running with the Oem Engine! Most people swap 2L or 2.4L in it. I got a 98Type R with a B18c6 Engine and it runs like butter
A lot of people say its still slow and stuff, but i mean, think about it, for a 1.8L its still really good. The amount of power you get from that engine is nice. Imagine if the ingine was designed the same way at a bigger size.

Hillclimbing mine next year in the UK. will be interesting to see how it compares to the clios and rx8s. Lovely car, keep it as clean as it is and these will only go up in money.

What I meant to say is that you can put whatever device in 2DIN format to the dashboard. It is supported by default. What you see in the video is a monitor in 2DIN format connected to custom pc, running custom software, my CarPC project: /watch?v=HlmBTeCX9go
If and when I get a Teg.. I am gonna buzz you for some adice if that's OK! here in the UK, we have many JDM DC2 type R's whoch make 197bhp from stock instead of 188bhp.
The EU B18C6 is practically the same engine as JPN B18C. The difference is only in ECU mapping, furthermore it's got more restrictive catalytic converter and headers.
TheSoulEater121 Yes, that is correct. However, all the DC55 Integra's in the EU are actually imported from Japan. Never were they marketed in Europe. The Civic Type R EP3 was pushed in the Eu instead. At the time, the S2000 was doing fine also.

Well after 10 plus years of Dc2 type r ownership I finally decided to.... Keep the old girl. Just spent £2k on brakes, suspension bushes, engine gearbox service, tyres , front antiroll bars ,exhaust etc . Going to get the body work freshened up next year and keep it as my weekend car.

Fr33r1der24 s velmi lahkou nohou do 90kmh a na 5.ke co najviac casu, pod 8l/ 100km nie je problem. Minuly rok som spravil 7.5l/100km priemerna celorocna spotreba, ale to som jazdil iba po okrskach a vyletnou rychlostou, VTEC 5% casu. S tazkou nohou 10-11L/100km je bezne cislo. V Papieroch je 8.8l/100km kombinovana, takze vsetko zavisi iba od toho aku tazku mas nohu :)

The ITR will always be a car that impress me . A lot of people always think its only 25 HP difference from a GSr , but in that 25 HP difference its much diffrent technically than the GSR . The two car is very diffrent ,but overall the ITR will always have a place in me . Rip 2001 flamenco black ITR #0006
I've always wondered about that GSR model. We've got only Type R model in Europe. Anything else is import from USA or JPN. Personally I never drove or saw anything else then Type R in my location.

Immaculate car . I've had mine for 9 years, 159000 miles on clock, never ever had any problems. Love it.

Yup agree, here in the UK they are rare as well, it still turns heads when I go for a spirited drive, not bad for a 1998 car :)

Yeah, It's EDM/UDKM 98 spec steering wheel with airbag.
hondahillracing nope, mine is 98 EUDM spec, the picutres you're posting are 2000 EUDM spec.
How did you get a backup camera on your dc2? I really want one on mine tho...
