StickRPG2-HD is an unofficial HD mod I made for Stick RPG 2 that unlocks window resizing, allows native resolution fullscreen, enables the Steam overlay, and replaces some textures with HD versions.
Its crazy how Stick RPG 2 is always lurking in my mind when I think about my childhood. lol

Hello friend. I don't know if any of this is related but, I intend to create my own version of Stick RPG 2 with custom dialogues and a new story that I'd like to write myself (and eventually place/move NPCs in the map to custom locations). Do you have any ideas how I can achieve that ? Thanks!

Hey i bought my verison of Stick RPG on Xgen website and i can not install the mod mine is just an .exe file is there a way you can help me
right click on game and hit "open file location" it is most likely a shortcut executable and then follow tutorial

Mod runs very poorly. it's not my cpu that's the problem either. Installing was really simple but I'm not willing to play at 100% like others have mentioned. It's also annoying that it breaks the quit button. despite trying a few things like adjusting the game's resolution to not be at 4k then upscaling with fsr, dlss, or integer, I still get as low as 20 fps.
What a bummer that the best way to play stick rpg 2 is the non-director's cut edition on browser...
Does it only work on steam?
hey being fullscreen halves my framerate in half and is super laggy, spent money on the game hoping this would be a good mod for it but unfortunately not, wish you could fix it
the lag is a fundamental issue with flash, but also the lag is worse on the first island compared to the other ones

can you upload your modded folder? i've been trying to run .bat installer but it just gives me a black screen
no solutions on their github page too, but it says it can work if we already grabbed the modded version where the installer worked so I was thinking if you could share yours? thanks
I know this is a year old and you probably don't play this anymore but make sure your exe is "Stick RPG 2 Director's Cut.exe" that seems to fix everything with the bat file

I don't know what is wrong but everytime i try to play Stick RPG 2 the blue stickfigure is always walking backwards/opposite direction, also tried different versions but it's still like that. Is it glitch from the game or it's my laptop?
Did you select "Socially Awkward Interpretive Dancer" when creating your character?

Im gonna be real dont waste your time with this, even if you do manage to get the installation process to work the FPS is split in half and your PC hardware has nothing to do with it.

@@MLGaeming I did, I even tried to use ICACLS to bypass the error messages, but it didnt do anything. Uploading the premodded files would be a straight and easy fix, why not just do that?
@@nikhill5340 That'd be illegal piracy. I'd love to share the premodded files but I want to avoid the entire project getting shut down. If Xgen people would give this a green light I'd happily share the files.
