Hey everyone!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing my recipe. I hope you guys enjoy it on your holiday table this year. Here are a few notes that may help you in preparation. Remember, the ingredients can be tweaked to fit your family’s liking. Just be sure to make it with love ❤️
-Start with a pan of your favorite cornbread. Follow the package instructions. I bake one large pan which will be about 8-10 servings
-I baked on 350 degrees uncovered for an hour total. If your dressing browns too quickly just cover it with foil.
-I prebaked 3 large chicken breast and onions and bell peppers lightly seasoned covered. Don’t drain Shred with a fork.
-The sautéed vegetables I used are onions, celery, red green and yellow bell peppers. About 1/2 cup of each
-I ended up using about 2 cups of chicken broth and 1/4 cup of evaporated milk
    - 1 can of each cream of chicken, mushroom and celery
    - season to taste using onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper and poultry season.
    - Use two beaten eggs
-topping with melted butter is completely optional

Thanks for sharing! Never heard of adding evaporated milk...i am definitely going to try it your way by adding the cream, celery and mushroom soup which is what mine lacked! My dressing is good but there is always room for improvement! If you never try something different you never know something different! Thanks again!

I usually make mine with turkey. Yours Is DEFINATELY different than the way I prepare mine, but like u said, you make yours the way the women in your family taught you, which is what I do as well. But it's always good to see the different traditional variations of how to make dressing.

I love chicken and cornbread dressing anytime of the year with gravy! I just bought a new 18 quart mesco roaster to be able to make a large batch of it and freeze some so I can have it whenever I feel like it. I am disabled and need a caregiver to help me cook so I cook in big batches and then freeze the extra. :-)

WestWard Pomona Gyrl race has nothing to do with this honestly... like why can’t she share a time saving tip without being called out about her race. It doesn’t matter if it’s passed down or not why does that even matter 💁🏾‍♀️.That was so uncalled for 🙄. No one needed your comment at all with your rude self ✌🏾

We call it stuffing up here in the north but stuffing dressing it's the same thing we just put some inside the bird. My mother sauteed her stuffing vegetables that you have the same vegetables in 2 sticks of butter! They were tender and delicious with all that butter and the stuffing and I still make mine that way today because I don't eat it every day. :-)
