Those GTO'S are rare. The 3 I found on AutoTrader one was over 150k miles and $17K the other two with 75K miles for almost $30K.

That BMW X5 has aftermarket seat cover on that passenger side, and the seat-heaters are electrical current-limited, not temperature limited. The seat cover acts like a blanket, and heat just builds up inside the seat much faster than the passenger will notice. Every owners manual of a car with heated seats will caution against using seat covers, and it appears this person didn't notice that warning.
Charlie the Impala guy here. That SS has potential. The power steering whine maybe low on fluid. Definitely gonna need a good detailing but as for the ac, hopefully it's not gonna need a new compressor. My dealership is charging me $1500 for new one installed. I love my LT, i'll spend it.

Here in Canada, personal use of marijuana has been legalized. I've never used drugs of any kind, but what I have noticed since the decriminalization is the frequency of being able to smell it when vehicles pass by, especially in the summer with the windows down. Smell it all the time in parking lots. A lot of people are behind the wheel while smoking it.

Anybody. Correct me if I am wrong, the 2018-2022 Accords with the 1.5 liter are all CVT'S, the typical giveaway is the traditional gearshifter. 2.0's have a 10 speed automatic (button shifter), I'm not sure what the 2.0 hybrids have as far as transmission. I think it's an E-CVT, and the almighty grail is the 6 speed manual. They only made them for 2018-2020 model years. I have a 2018 accord lx with the 1.5 cvt and the car has told me to change the fluid once. When I got it, I had it changed because I didn't know the condition of the fluid at 38k miles when I bought it. I have never had a problem with my 2018 LX. I love it. 2020's and above LX come standard with car play / android auto. 2018, and 2019 LX radios are just standard Bluetooth, no car play, no android auto. They do NOT have Sirius xm built in.

randy, im sorry to say this but, i have two cvt vehicles, nissan an Infiniti, they both are amazing suvs, both get better gas milage then my v6 truck and my v8 truck. i love the way cvt shifts, they dont lag. they sometimes get you going faster.
I think the GTO is save-able it would be a great car for the channel because then you could rebuild it

In the fall of 2002 I was in Victoria Australia with my dad planting corn in Gippsland area. I saw some of the 2 door Holden Commodore’s and they were more elegant than the Pontiac GTO version. A few months later I read a Car and Driver article after getting home to the US and C&D was driving around the same area at the same time test driving the Holden Monaro. The Holden and Ford Ute’s were other cool Aussie vehicles.
One field I was sitting in my dads Toyota truck and I heard a Kookaburra sing for 20 minutes straight. It was the coolest thing my ears have ever heard. Wish I had a recording of it.
I would get a nice looking front end from Australia resprayed and that gto could look real nice 👍

Randy, do get the AC to work on the Black Impala SS, you have to press the left HVAC knob so the Green light comes on. I have a 2008 LUXURY edition Impala. Plus, the tranie dip stick is behind the alternator. FYI, the SS has the same 4T65-E tranie (but upgraded gear sets etc as your proof of concept 2005 burnt Orange Azek that had 254,xxx miles.

Glad I still have my pristine '06 GTO (M6). Bought it new and just turned 40k. Only one mod...upgraded the long-throw stock shifter to a GMM Ripshifter. Not touching the engine or exhaust. Plenty fast for me as is, but I do have a complete new Pedders suspension in the boxes still. I'll be retaining all stock parts in case of a future sale, but I doubt that will happen. No reason to ever sell it IMO.

They do have the cvt… but it’s different than any other cvt.. it actually feels good and doesn’t feel like it’s slipping

I don't think you could possibly get that gto for 1500, but if you could it would be a steal in parts alone. Just the T56 in it is worth $1500 on marketplace. Then a 6.0 ls6 is worth an absolute fortune for whatever reason they're in higher demand than the ls3 even 🙃

Hi Randy. I rechon that X5 is Probably okay lol. That GTO looks the exact same as the Monaro from Australia. Nice Car but it would cost alot of Money to fix back up. Great for a Retired mechanic to fix in their own time. The Honda is very nice. I love the shape of it. I would love too know what they sell for. Anyway great video again Randy and Chat laters 😅😅

Parts availability/price on the GTO you’d probably be in it more than you could flip it for especially since it will have a rebuilt title. I got lucky and snagged my 04’ with 100k and a clean title for a lot less than most are asking.

These Aussie built GTO's back in Australia (Holden Monaro) usually sell for on average, $30,000/$80,000 AUD.
These ARE gaining in Price in the States as they become rarer and Aussies have taken to importing these LHD versions back for Spare Parts Donors, as the Parts Prices are a Killer back home! Some savvy Aussies are also putting them away for the day that the 25 Year Old Rule comes into play and they will be finally able to Register and Drive them on the Road.
Anyone with a GOOD one in the States or elsewhere, especially the 6.0l/6-Speed versions should hang onto them as they will eventually prove to be a great Investment in time to come.
That Monaro can be fixed. The rails can be sectioned It needs to be saved

Have the Regal GS (L67) with the 4T65 transaxle. Engine is hand-built, transaxle has the 1" GM performance band, billet input shaft, and a LSD. GM could've made all the transaxles more durable than they did...but GM seems to just half-ass everything unless a "Special purpose" vehicle like mine. Just look at the Z06 engine issue & all C8 transmissions- it's their "Flagship" and it's getting hammered for being a failure

I take good care of my car but I can attest to not having matching tires due to having to get replacement tires that do not match due to unavailability of original brand and model of tire.

See I respect that you would want to drop the auto policy, but In my personal opinion I would contact the policy holder that had the weed smell in the car that if he wants to keep insurance then he needs to switch sr22 insurance or have his auto policy cancelled outright

I dont know if I agree with your tire theory Randy...My cars are very well maintained and usually have two different matching pairs. I refuse to pay $400 a tire when I can get two of the same tire used for half the price. I just stay away from the cheaper Asian donuts
