I'm a simple man, I see an old school Montero and I click.
My family and I had the older 88,98, 01 montero the 88 look like a mail truck. in other countries I think it was called the pajero but we had 2 15s stuffed in the back (fit perfect just enough room to close door).. it was the slowest car we’ve ever owned but was fun. Extremely hard to get to 85mph but nothing over even floored 😂 …got it to 90 once but had hill assist 😂😂😂.. and I actually got other people pulled over because of the 15s because u wouldn’t think it was that car…Miss that little thing
CD is centre diff lock and they flash because you have to move it a couple of car lengths for it to click in to select next drive mode sold hundreds of them over the years
I owned a 1995 Mitsubishi Montero. It has the same body style and it was the best four-wheel drive vehicle I've ever owned, go ahead. Buy it now, you won't regret it
i have pajero sport 2017 model..even in my house i have ford endevaour n toyota fortuner type 2...but my pajero is beast

21:06 Randy, to answer your question on the ES350. Since I work at a Toyota and Lexus dealership, I would say get it and it will sell. The 2007-2012 Lexus ES350, Toyota Avalon and Toyota Camry V6 sells like hot cakes. The 3.5 2GR-FE is very sold and silky smooth engine that is bulletproof outside of some common oil leaks. You can sell it for 2-3 times the price and get all of your money back and then some. It WILL sell quick because those cars are highly sought after in the used car market. As soon as we recondition one, it's sold within like a day or two. I think the views will do great if you bought it and did a recon/restoration series on it. AMD from The Car Care Nut channel praises these cars.
Yep, I specifically searched for that generation to get one with the panoramic sunroof. I forgot to check for the years that I have Bluetooth so I have a pre 2010 with no Bluetooth music. 07 with 89k miles
@@djncrti2860 Yes, I personally prefer the facelifted ES350 2010-2012. Lexus also rectified a few issues with the radio as well.

To me, the Mitsubishi Montero is a clear winner of this video! $650 Buy It Now with working AC, 4WD, and recent service??? Heck yeah! If this was a Toyota 4Runner in the same year, condition, and mileage, then it Buy It Now would be at least $6k LOL!
Honorable mention is the BMW Z3, which is a *GREAT* car and easy fix. Just hoped it was a manual...
Montero is called Pajero in Asia. I have had 2 of these. Very comfortable and reliable SUV.

its not mech damage,just a small vacuum unit located on the inside fender, needs replaced,it makes those little green lights flash because of a vaccum leak, been there,done that,good luck.
I would buy that montero in a heart beat. Can’t beat the 90’s quality. And the interior is awesome.

HLc and LLc on the Montero stand for High Lock and Low Lock, lock referring to the center differential, which is C/D on the dash. The lights flash because the truck has to move a few feet to engage the 4wd or lock the center diff. Regular 4Hi is for use on hard packed surfaces and roads, and the center diff is open. This allows for tighter turns and protects the transfer case and axles.
The Mitsubishi Montero, pajero in Australia, is a great 4x4. I owned 3 in my time.
The flashing front wheel lights so that during transferring from 4H to 2wd. Nothing to worry about.
4H Is for offload. 4H LLC is locked diff and heavy offload. Get it!
I always felt that there were two types of cars. The cars you go fast in and the cars you look really good in but you can't always have both of them in the same car. Wonderful video . Thank you.

You need to be in neutral to select on the transfer case. The front is flashing due to possible vacuum problem. Front is vacuum operated.

Check the oil for milkshake & radiator for fluid but then yeah.
With the Montero once you engage the 4 wheel drive system to get it out you'll have to drive in reverse to disengage, and thTs why it's stays flashing. You should be ok after that. I would buy just to put a sound system in. It's a good buy.

I own one of these, same year model too. My lights flashed as well & found out to be a small pin hole in the vacuum hose for the transfer case! Easy fix plus it helps to drive forward to fully lock it in & be in neutral when selecting 4wd etc then into drive. 👌
Mines been off the road for a few years now because of a blown head gasket & non working power windows & dead fuel pump but can’t complain as it’s done 315,000 kms for its age.

That Lexus ls500 has a very reliable engine. The 3.5 can go over 300,000 and not to mention 416 horse power which is definitely enough. That z3 is a nice little car!!! That motreo is a very cool truck!!! nice selection in this video!!!

That Lexus is a good car. The 3.5 is one of Toyota's best engines. I've been watching for a good deal on one for a while now. Still kicking myself over passing up a '95 LS400 for $1000. It was overdue for a timing belt though, but that was a reaĺly good deal.

Hey Randy that 2018 Lexus LS500 has a 3.5 liter twin turbo engine with 416 horsepower. The color of it is called atomic silver it is the same color as my 2019 Lexus ES350. My 2019 ES350 has a 3.5 liter with 302 horsepower. I always liked the LS500. I might be selling my ES350 and be getting this used 2021 LS500 F Sport. Otherwise then that nice video and keep up the good work.
I really hope you or Mike ends up getting that BMW Z3! I would love to see it on your channel or his channel.....also, PLEASE get that Mitsubishi Montero...a running/driving vehicle with AC, that's an easy flip....plus its 4 wheel drive....it won't sell for as much as the Ford Explorer did, but it will still sell.....
3.5 Toyota v6 is a fantastic engine. Lotus uses the twin turbo 2GR in the Évora.
Those Monteros, while they're solid little trucks, the 3.2/3.5 engine is prone to head gasket failure. You might wanna do a compression test before buying it. Also, I was told parts are quite hard to find since they don't make/sell many of these. Not very common sight in the US, but very common all over Southeast Asia. My dad had owned one of these as his work truck with the diesel engine.
The flashing 4wd indicator lights can be as simple as the flywheel clutch solenoid which is under the air box. It's a simple $50 part. They tend to go at higher mileage. That Montero I would buy today...it just needs a paint job.

Hello Randy. The 2018 Lexus is a decent looking car even though it's got damage on the rear passenger quarter panel. The 1998 BMW Z3 is a good looking car even though it's got front end damage.
Back when that Z3 was new there were far less electronics in cars and batteries last longer than the 2-4 years they last now.

4llc you have to be in neutral, pressdown on teh 4wd stick and push forward, and it will go in to 4wd low, with all lockers locked, front, rear and center
1:53 Rev het a little bit and turn her off and on again. Chance is great most of lights are out and powersteering works again.
Randy to get into 4wd low range you have to press and pull it to the right. I have a 95 turbo diesel

Randy I think I have figured it out you are correct If it says LC500 that is a 5 l V8 but if there's a H at the end of the 500 that means it will have the 3.5 twin turbo V6 according to the Lexus website

Hi mate, the blinking lights in the Mitzi montero is normal as I have the same Gen 2 model and the sensors are playing up but it works fine
