I'm 34 years old but when I grow up I so want to build bmws just like you. Awesome stuff. Well done and keep up the good work. Can't wait to see more videos. I like the subframe color.
Lots of requests for e46 - but you guys can’t seduce what you need from the info I’ve provided in both e36 and e30 swaps - these video series and the integrators guides?
Garageaholic I don’t think it’s the technical aspect... anybody taking on a swap would probably have of knowledge from the guides to complete it. I think it’s more they wanna see you do it, see the final result. Would be great content to watch for E46 Fanatics. I’ve seen a few E46 N54 swaps but the content on it is just lacking in comparison to the videos you create and especially how you present the final products. It’s fairly easy to find a non-M E46 coupe body and an n54 would really give it the power it deserves. Perhaps a fully built e45 n54? catless downpipes.. LSD or atleast a welded diff. intake etc you name it.. Push some power out of that n54. I bet it would kill on the track or for drifting, and be an amazing overkill daily haha
Interesting idea - perhaps take an AWD e46 and swap n54 AWD from E9x. Could be a good challenge I may be willing to do. But even cooler? B58 into e46. Anyone want me to do that I could be game!
Sorry in advance, but, that ecu is supose to be mounted verticaly, that is the Reason of those fins, that ecu as well as most E90 and fowardeds ecus need some cooling, they get their cooling from convection from the hot air rising.

Haha i'm only 37 but i'm young at heart!
Great ideas Frank! Keep up the great work, and stay safe! Dutch regards, Nico
Thanks, you too!
I’d love to see an e46 n54 swap done next. That’s the plan with my current car after college
second this

Garageaholic, either idea would be very cool, b58 sounds expensive lol.
Making it look easy. Nice work Frank
Thanks 👍
Looking good!
Thank you! Cheers!
Welds...

José Ligeiro thanks for that comment! I may put an Ebox fan for active convection cooling - good point thank you!
