I'm inspired to achieve my high school goal of body building(female competition) I'm 40 years old and want to do something worth while in my life plus I would love to be around women who believe like I do.
Of course not every person should aspire to have one ideal look, but it sure would be nice to see more women like this and less starving themselves to be thin.
Jessie, I have gained 10 pounds in muscle this year. I hate the scale. It's so hard to ignore those numbers. I am 5'4" and 148 lbs. I still wear the same jeans I did at 135 pounds. My waist is 27 inches. I feel great and my butt is bomb. I love strong women. I love being strong. Thanks for the inspiration!

Around 11:30, when u said one week u can do 30lb overhead shoulder presses n then the next week you can't rep that once. Maaaaan! I just started shaking my head like yup! Exactly. That's definitely happened to me
She is amazing, I loved this. Only one statement she made that I disagreed with - she said you can’t get an “afterburn effect” from cardio, only lifting. Not true, if you do HIIT style cardio, with intensity. That produces an afterburn also; that’s why it’s so effective at burning fat.
You were VERY FORTUNATE to have someone show you the way in the beginning.I have NO ONE.Everyone wants money to help a beginner.Its sad I just don't know where to begin.I am ready to start,but WHERE do you start?......I am 54 and I want to look and feel AMAZING ,for ME!!..... Maybe one day I'll find that special person to help to show me where to begin...... maybe.
Monnie Moores there are a lot of free resources. They may not provide 1:1 support, but RUclips has a ton of resources that will talk about nutrition, programming (what exercises you do, how often, how much, etc.), and break down every exercise step by step. I recommend Athlean-X here on you tube as a starting point. Or Scott Herman Fitness. Both have a ton of content and teach at all levels of experience. Also, unless you're getting under a heavy squat bar or Deadlift, anything you do is better than nothing! Go for a walk, a jog, grab small weights and do some basic curls! Even a little step in the right direction isa step in the right direction! Good luck!

When I'm doing exercises that involve my calf muscles they feel as though they will cramp up on me. I've been working out for 2 months now and haven't experienced this with any other muscle worked
+ana ilka I feel you but it don't take much money ... If memberships are too much hit up planet fitness, they're only $10 bucks a month. Ppl be clowning that place but they have all the equipment you need to get in, tear shit up and get out! It beats sitting on the couch
First lesson never smoke if you do stop second don't over drink third don't over eat just these three things in practice is a great start for both sexes
