The Metrolink Nathan P2 Horn is Used In Various Cartoons 1 Thomas And Friends Episode Thomas and the dragon 2 My Little Pony 3 Piggy Tales Episode Snooze and others cartoons and films
WAIT!?!??!?!!? Oceanside used to have a Safetran type-1 E-BELL On one of their railroad crossings?!!? Oh my goodness.... I never knew this until watching this video back...
NorfolkSouthernProductions2000 They do. Both metrolink F59PH's and F59PHI's have a K5LA mounted uptop, and a P2 behind the plow. Sometimes they sound at the same time, and sometimes the K5LA only starts.
The F125s are indeed hideous. I can't believe those thingys were made by EMD. In fact, they make, out of everything, the Siemens SC-44 a cool locomotive.
That's actually the best sounding Metrolink horn I've ever heard.
The Metrolink F59PHI 886 horn sounds beautiful.
THAT'S A BIG PENGUIN!
LOL!
LOL!
+AmCalJojo459 don't steal my comment.
LOL
Noot noot!
Good for metrolink :)
That P2 air horn sounds like the type you hear on Caltrain
@@ladyprecise77 me too
Wow, Oceanside actually looks pleasant here...
It's Got A Nathan P2 Horn & I Saw The Penguin Mascot
It's a lot better than some of the P-2's I've heard on Metrolink...

Love it!
Cool Video Mike
LOL, thanks!
@CoasterFan2105 Man, they need to have more f59phi's on the Antelope Valley Line.
That horn is the best of the worst!
I love Nathan p2 and k2s
WAIT!?!??!?!!? Oceanside used to have a Safetran type-1 E-BELL On one of their railroad crossings?!!? Oh my goodness.... I never knew this until watching this video back...
very nice!!!!
this is why the 2000s were better
Yep
Caltrain has that exact horn on most trains. If only Metra did too
Metra's better off with P5s and K3LAs.
@@Trainlover1995 why??
@@coleallen3895 Because P2s sound like shit.
@@Trainlover1995 not on Caltrain - the P2 horns can be mounted under the cabcar instead of over
I like this P2.
So this is where the Trainz horn came from
Same.

When metrolink was good
Stock Train Horn Origin.
That's either an extremely awesome P2 or a standard K5LA... :D at the emperor penguin from Happy Feet...
It's a P2, Metrolink's K5LA's sound way different.
DM Multimedia I didn't think they use k5las
NorfolkSouthernProductions2000 They do. Both metrolink F59PH's and F59PHI's have a K5LA mounted uptop, and a P2 behind the plow. Sometimes they sound at the same time, and sometimes the K5LA only starts.

You have a very good point XD
Kids Like Watch Trains
was used for many kids movies
that guy on the rite of ur view, was he dressed like a penguin?
Back before Metrolink started using those glorified rice cookers
The F125s are indeed hideous. I can't believe those thingys were made by EMD. In fact, they make, out of everything, the Siemens SC-44 a cool locomotive.
Plus their abysmal horns
Sounds like a Caltrain
P2 are awesome 0:12
The P2 is fine.....its the brakes that need improvement. HOLY CRAP!
ikr
Who was the guy in the penguin costume?
He was soooooo funny! 😂😂😆😆😆

Metrolink sounds like Caltrain
Yup
Those who do inow about 886's backstory
👇
Oh? What happens to it?
American puong
lol akaward...
Is it me or does this P-2 sound just like Caltrain's?
It’s a Caltrain P2.

🤣
GE CM20EMP do better tbh
That'[s a gawd awful horn you know...
No you are, P2 are the the best horn.
@@d64tv06 someone cant handle an opinion
I really am not a big fan of those ugly sounding P2 horns I preferred the original K5LA's but many complaints about them being too loud
Good for metrolink =)
Thanks
