    Concerning elevator, I guess you want to detach the clevis and then move the control surface up and down a couple of times to reduce the resistance of the foam hinge. I could imagine, that this doesn‘t work well on EPO even when pinched. Please, pick up on this maybe in the flight video and if or how you got it to work. And also if you had to increase the throws.
    I agree with you that it does look according to the price and also, that this doesn‘t play a role, once it is flying!
    My TT Evo looks pretty bad and beaten up on the ground, but shines like a star when flying. Very curious on your maiden. 😊👍🏻

      @A.M.-RC  5 месяцев назад

      Great suggestion, didn't think about it. I think I will try to fly it as is then adjust what is needed and try again. QC probably isn't the best given the price and this can be important for a beginner, the manual doesn't have info on how to center control surfaces, etc.
      Might even do a setup video to help beginners.

      @@A.M.-RC super. I did a few mods. I beefed up the nose a little as with the removable cowel great for access, which is so welcome! I felt it is a little weak in that area if you don't ever nose plant it then I guess no need! I added some small metal hoop guides for the control rods to stop the flex. Increased throws on elevator n rudder...I fly in a tight space. I do find the different throw rates in the various modes a little strange compared to what you might expect....look forward to seeing your flight n content liked & smashed the button as the say!

    About what size ( in mm and/or inches ) is the propeller's center hole ( hub bore ) ?

    • @A.M.-RC
      @A.M.-RC  3 месяца назад +1

      The hub bore is 5mm and it has an adapter to 3mm. UMX props are 4mm and I 3d printed an adapter to use them, but it was a bit of a pain printing something that thin.

    • @smesui1799
      @smesui1799 3 месяца назад +1

      @@A.M.-RCThe manufacturer, in China, didn't realize that propeller specifications ( numbers ) like 5045 are in inches; not in mm or cm. The manufacturer gave it in cm, which would make it unreasonably small.

      BINGO ! Someone ( you ) finally answered this query I had also posted, for this very same aircraft, at other YT videos. Thank you VERY much ! This is exactly what I needed to know since getting propellers of the same size in bulk is more cost effective than getting the one ( 1 ) offered as spare-parts from the manufacturer or other source(s).

      Wow. That's crazy! I only paid $1-2 for shipping to Europe. But I think there are services that allow you to ship to or buy from the US and have it shipped to another country at decent costs. Not sure if it's worth it for something like this though.
