I'm a Gibson guy, but I gotta give this round to Martin.
Gibson sound is super clean
no wonder it's the most recorded acoustic guitar
But, taylor sound like original
The Taylor has such a bright tone and I love it.
I think so
Me, also
I’ve got a Taylor and it’s loud! Martin guitar next on my list
I have all three guitars and my favorite is the Taylor.
Мне тоже нравится Tейлор
The Martin D-28 has always been "MY WONDERWALL"👌😍
I heard a Martin many years ago in a Music Store and til this day have still not heard a more beautiful sounding guitar. I just cant remember if it was a D-18 or D-28. Whatever it was it left a deep impact. There's a big difference hearing an Acoustic in person than on video
Too bad I am 71. I would get a Martin in a heartbeat. I will have to settle for my 52 year old Ventura Bruno.
@@ka5dwiI bought my first d-28 when I was 53 . I will be buried with my Martin
Real
The Martin. Always.
chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream - they’re all delicious, but everyone has their favorite flavor!”
I like the vanilla one
Love martin sound
The Taylor sounds so incredible. My gf back then had me play all the acoustic guitars in Guitar Center to see which one was my fav. Was a $1k Taylor acoustic. She bought it for my bday. I couldn't believe it. Almost a decade later we are married and have twins now-- and I play for them on that awesome instrument 🥰
So wholesome, love it!
Beautiful story.
Another one where I like all of them for different reasons. Can't go wrong either way.
for me, the Taylor guitar sounds like the live versions and Martin sounds like the album version, and I love this one!
holy smokes ur right
All usable tone, but the D28 is what I would imagine an acoustic guitar should sound like before even hearing any of them
확실히 귀에 익숙한 유명한 곡을 연주할수록 더 비교가 잘 되는거같아요 음색이 다 다른게 확연히 느껴지네요
익숙한데에는 다 이유가 있는법이죠.
Martin has a fuller tone. Gibson has a vintage touch. Loved both. Taylor is also good.
Comparing Taylor grand auditorium body size to two dreadnoughts. Apples and oranges
@@dirkgibbens377 You are right
@@dirkgibbens377I’ve said this for years. A good bit of people I know hate Taylors, but they only have used grand auditoriums. I have a Taylor that a friend of mine who is anti Taylor loves… Go figure, it’s a dreadnought.
And I still love the Taylor sound more than the Gibson and Martin.
Wouldn't kick any of them outta bed.
Gibson seems to be the original sound. And it's the most beautiful for me.
Well the original was played on a taylor
@@TLO129 In the original video it is a Gibson J200.
@@christianvidigalmiranda4229 Let me correct myself. The videos shows a Gibson J200, yes. However, the record Noel Gallagher played a Takamine FP-460 SC. He can be seen with this guitar on the Howard Stern show and during Knebworth. The guitar is currently in the possession of Owen Morris.
Gibson trash
Oasis used Takamine to record 😂
Martin and Gibson both wins, but I prefer parlour size rather than dreadnought or jumbo.
D-28 all the way
The Taylor sounds so gentle❤
That Taylor sounds so soft and warm.... The best!.... That Martin sounds very well.... That Gibson, mmm, I feel that is so aggressive for this style song
Nothing beats a Martin, IMO. D-41 has been my personal favorite and no guitar, regardless of cost, has treated my ears as well as the Matin
100% agreed. My favorite guitar used to be the Taylor 714ce for it's balance, I just traded that in plus a 314ce for a Martin HD-28 and it has been one of the best moves I've made in a long time
This is great. I have or have owned each of those (Still have the HD-28 and J-45). All different and all have their unique voices.
definitely one where this Taylor model really shines
Они всё по своему прекрасны..
Martin-thick and rich
Taylor- bright and chimey
Gibson- warm and mellow
D-28 all the way. I’d rather own a D-18 though. But they’re both great guitars
body shape = output sound and Dreadnought is very good output sound...🎉
They are all good .
That Gibson adds a depth to this song that I never heard before. I love It!!
Perfect! Gibson is more acoustic/unplugged (more pronounced bass). I would prefer this one.
The other two are phenomenal too, but they're more metallic.
great demo! It will be better if you can use X bracing Taylor for comparison
I think so
As lovely as that Taylor is. The Martin is just a cut above every other acoustic every time.
On the guitars displayed, third place Gibson, no doubt, the other 2 sound way way better....
Now between Martin and Taylor it is hard to decide because they are 2 different desserts that taste so good and they are so different for hearing.
Martin sounds more balanced between low and high string notes, it feels like a perfect harmony between the strings, no string competing with another one to stand out among them, like perfect team work. It sounds like it has been set up in a console by a knowledged technician. That guitar sounds as it was a mastered recording and for that it is so pleasant to hear. The guitar sounds like a studio recording by itself. Covers well performed on that guitar would feel as it is the actual song recorded in the studio.
And on the other hand Taylor sounds more real in a way that it sounds beautifully more natural and rustic, unregulated balance between the strings stress but with a powerful and beautiful bright sound that it feels way more natural, beautifully unpredictable, you feel how the music is getting born from the wood in the palm of your hands with no measurer device, letting the sound come out as it wants to in a beautiful and powerful sound. When you hear Taylor sound it feels that there is someone real playing a guitar in front of you. This guitar sounds like it has more vitality. And this is also pleasant to hear and you feel passionate as you play or listen to this guitar.
These 2 aspects for me are the reason what makes it hard to decide which flavor tastes better.
With Martin you get a guitar that sounds as an studio and with Taylor you get a guitar with more vitality that feels more natural.
If at the end I would have to choose one, I would go for just a little bit, little bit more with Taylor and the vitality of natural sound you feel when playing or listening to that guitar.
Today is gonna be the day that they're gonna throw it back to you...
I have a gibson acoustic j15 dreadnought and its fantastic. Ive played some really nice taylors, but if i was going to get another acoustic it would probably be martin or a smaller high quality builder.
The Martin is a dreadnought, Taylor is a grand auditorium and Gibson a round shoulder dreadnought. Of course they all have different purposes. But for this one I prefer the Taylor.
Great point. Not all Dreadnoughts
Hard to decide between the Martin and Taylor but the brighter tone of the Taylor just edges it for me.
Martin
Martin - Taylor - Gibson in that order for me.
Cara que foi o único cara que fez uma obra de arte dessa comparando todos os violões
The Martin has the best body/brightness ratio without having obnoxious overtones. Could benefit from some mid sculpting, but the Taylor feels empty compared to it and that's not coming back from EQ without introducing mud.
The forbidden riff
How Am I Supposed to choose From Excellent Brilliant 👏 and Fantastic 😊
All of these are beautiful
1-Gibson, 2-Martin, 3-Taylor
My Yamaha A1M would go toe to toe with any of them. Don't get me wrong, a Martin or Taylor is an amazing instrument. But don't sleep on a lot of sub 1000 dollar solid tops. They sound every bit as good.
Martin!
GIBSON classic sound. Love it!! Martin 1st and a very close 2nd martin
Escolhi os 3. São timbres diferentes. Todos top.
Martin 👑
Whatever it is about Taylor, to me it just resonates with every part of my soul. Best answer, everybody will hear it differently and therefor go with the instrument that vibrates with them.
I own a Taylor and a santa Cruz and had a Gibson, but never even played a Martin (thought they were all name ) but the Martin has it in this selection
Been trying to choose between a Taylor or a Martin for my next acoustic. I have a Big Baby Taylor and have had it for a long time, for a low end Taylor, it plays well and sounds great. Next one will be above low end, because I want something better. I think my attraction with a Martin is more the historical significance their guitars have made in music for many, many years. Taylors have more of the sound that I prefer. I've never played a Gibson acoustic, but they do sound great, I would love to try one, but nobody has them in the guitar shops near me, it's mostly Martin and Taylor. Honestly I would take one of each, because we all know, there's no such thing as owning too many guitars.
For me the sparkle and brightness of the Taylor make it my fave with the Gibson close behind
All are perfect!
Tough choice! All 3 very useful. If forced, I'd take the Martin.
O som do Martin me encantou! Me apaixonei pelo som dele.😍
Qualquer um me serve. São todos top.
Martin é Martin. Ninguém supera ✔️
Because of the difference of body type that why they give a different sound.
Martin D28 for me.
2020 taylor 814 for my taste. So warm and balanced, perfect sustain and a touch of brightness.
Always wanted a J45.
Martin does it for me. I don’t like V bracing on Taylor’s.
All 3 sound fantastic!!😎😎😎
통기타 관심 3대장!!! 셋다 자기만의 소리 좋은데요~~!!! 테일러의 화사하고 해상력있는 사운드는 매력적이다!!!!!
I’d have to flip a coin between the Martin and the Taylor. Both sound amazing in their own way.
Each guitar has its own voicing, but Martin is my personal favorite. Not even close for me. Taylor has some 9 series guitars that the neck seem easier for me. But a D-41 or D28 will never let you down.
This is the first time I've ever preferred a Martin to a Taylor! The Gibson is excellent, but comes third in this lineup, for me.
I mean..... the Martin is the obvious win. Such a full tone.
Sooo Cool
That was tough!! 3
I've been building speakers for 35 years, I like the Taylor.
La valides de la Gibson, El brillo de la Martín y la sutileza de la Taylor, increíble❤️❤️❤️✨
Taylor all the way! Bright & Crisp. Always sounds good in a full band setup
Best acoustic pickup setup by far!
Martin, Gibson and Taylor
Martin.
I love number 1 and number 3
They all sound great. The question is: which one felt the best in your hands?
They all sound great but i really like the Taylor.
Martin IMHO
what string did you used? I like martin sound.
Todos são muito bons
I like them in the order they were played.
Taylor, literally every time.
I'd say change my mind, but I've been comparing Acoustics to Taylor for like 2 years now looking for the perfect Acoustic for me and I'm still looking into either a GS Mini or 114 because nothing even compares except Taylor's that I can't afford...
Martin 🤟 got the best medium and bass
They are all great and different. The Martin and Gibson are dreads with medium gauge strings, the Taylor is a smaller GA size body with light strings so it would have been even better to hear all dreads for this comparison.
I have that specific Model of Taylor with a professional setup and I love it. You have to hear it in person to truly appreciate the sound. That said, that Gibson sounded really warm to me. Still a Taylor man.
Martin. I love my Martin road series
I like the Taylor but it's probably because the timbre is a bit brighter because it's a cutaway.
All good. Martin for me
People just blindly say Martin in these comparisons without any thought, they all sound fantastic with each having a very unique personality. But open your mind a bit
I have Gibson and a Martin guitars. I prefer the deep bass sound that comes with a Martin and Gibson. Taylor just doesn’t do it for me when I hear the noticeable difference between Martin and Gibson. I prefer Rosewood body both back and sides
The D28 for me, and it's really not even close. They are all amazing guitars, but for me I just love that full bass-y sound of a rosewood dread. D18s are better for flat picking but 28s are best for rhythm.
Martin😍😍😍😍
Martin❤❤❤
그냥 듣기에는 마틴이 좋네요 각자 용도가 다르겠지만
I like the tailor
it was a takamine eg 530 on the record.
Taylor.. ❤
Wow I prefer the Martin
what you do is double track the first two and then you triple track the gibson, pan each left and right then put the third gibson in the middle a couple db down
