Hey Eric I’ve had the same issue with my old Chevy trucks, used to think my truck was being stolen at night. It’s the brake switch on your brake pedal. Unplug it and swap it for new one. Set your clock 6-9 mins fast, you’ll always be on time 🤙

Yup I was late one time to my job and went and bought me one of those old school clocks with the hammer that rings back and forth on the bells. Never been late again lol.

Late night editing? thank you for your hard work Ryan. Appreciate you greatly.. Getting me through the night shift, and the early morning overtime shifts..
Why not weld 4 or 6 bolts to the deck and just make the box with 4 or 6 holes in it and just bring it up to the bolts while on a floor jack and put washers and nylon lock nuts and as long as there is a frame around your box for the bolts to go through giddyup ! As for painting your bobcat if just put the portable heater on it to get the body up to 90 or 100* before you spray and it will help your room heater to dry the paint .You can get the real automotive paint put into spray cans but it costs 4 or 5 times the cheap rattle can paint but on your $80,000 dollar machine is probably justifiable. As for trailers just go to Indiana there is a whole swath of the state that makes trailers I have bought 2 different cargo trailers there.
Just another day at the office boys. That fancy spray can paint actually came out really nice. That Victory shop is so nice, you guys can do it all in there, have all the tools, sweet set up. Nice trailer, equipment, great company.
Ryan nice video, man grab some pallets and stack them up for a fab table, or build a work table with a vise so you don’t have to be down on the concrete on your knees fabbing !! Take care your knees!!
That’s crazy that it’s a Behnke trailer because not only do I live near it and a few of my buddies work there, but where I work, 90% of our trailers are from them. The best trailers I’ve ever used
Ryan, you should put some of that plate steele in front & back of the duallies. If you were to get a flat, the blown out tire would beat and dent up those new tool boxes. I just think that you've invested a lot of time and money into your business...it would be a shame to see all your guy's hard work get wrecked up. Even if they were vertical protector plates mounted to prevent them getting tore up. Great video and can't wait to see y'all back at the concrete!! God bless
Ryan, I highly suggest making yourself a table to work on instead of working on the ground. A simple 4x8 table made out of plywood and a couple sturdy horses is better than being on your knees and bending over. Even a smaller 3x5 table made out of tube steel and 1/4 plate will be a benefit for you on multiple off-seasons when you work on your equipment.
Great Video and the story about being young and taking bikes apart to paint them is priceless. I would take them apart to see how they work and there fuction and or reason for it. Logic that took me into enjoying my Mechanical Engineer Career.
we have a tilt bed. if it gets slippery, throw a little dirt/sand on and youll go right up. we have a wheeled and track bobcat and dont have issues. just got to make sure the guys remember to lock and unlock the tilt or theyll jump right off the end. theyre great, ryan.
Ryan I have the same story about burning my knee. Except i hit my knee on the exhaust of a lawnmower...... I had taken a knee to check the oil, and my kneecap landed right on the exhaust cap. 10 years old!
Ryan don't worry about the deck being wet. We use those exact trailers and all we haul is track skid steers and mini excavators with it and some miscellaneous things and you will have absolutely no problems getting on and off the trailer. Goes as anything else don't try and load and unload like an idiot and your fine! They are also nice because they have an adjustable weight on the tilt deck to adjust the up and down holding pressure.
@George yeah usually the case. The trailer which is usually on flat ground doesn't even tip eno7gh to give you a problem by the time you would start slipping the counter balance sends you up flat. Everyone has an opinion and that's fine but you shouldn't talk someone out of something unless you have the same use experience . But all good no big deal
I love these videos, they make me miss doing HVAC and Crawlspace repair with the boys and all the shenanigan's. Haven't been able to find a family nit place like you got in ages.

Ryan we use expanded metal and tack it to steel and then you can zip some screws down into deck and it will give you all that traction you want on the deck. Use smaller tacks and you can use grinder with cut off wheel and pop them up fairly quick. Hope that helps you out.

You could tack on a sheet of expanded metal, on the new trailer for traction. They make many different styles of expanded metal. Or bolt it in a few spots to remove if needed.

Ryan you can use the same adhesive tape that is on the fenders on the trailer and where equipment will be going and you shouldn’t ever have any slippage and it’s a very cheap alternative instead of buying steel and welding something for traction
Benke is an awesome manufacturer. Custom ordered one that should be here within a month. I’ve done a lot of research and they seem to be one of the best. Was going to go with diamond c but they wouldn’t galvanize a trailer for me.

good working relationship there with you two. Eric a good find.. Been away a while and see you had a falling out with one employee. Hope they are well. Your mature approach to it is admirable.
hey Eric when spray paint is over $21 per can, you can bet it is better than your $5 to $7 can from home depot, i am pretty sure you would get a better finish, the saying you get what you pay for, that is why Ryan gets the money for his jobs that he does because he does quality work, people are getting what they paid for and are always happy and if not Ryan does not leave them hanging and make sure they are happy, that is how you make that EASY MONEY
The cashier was tweeking and fidgetie. We installed angle iron frame on our trucks to install tool boxes where we can slide them in and out just bolt them to the frame.
Those b and b trailers are pretty good trailers. There made about 20 miles from me just on the other side of the iowa boarder. There are tons of them around my area and they have a good rep.
