Bruno is suited to a team which plays on the counter-attack, this is why he has been so good the past 2 seasons as ETH has played on the counter due to not having the right players or injuries. ETH now has the players to play possession football and Bruno is struggling, he isn't adapting to the new style. Bruno is now 30 year-old, he still has value. United need to be better at recognising when players need to be sold, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are excellent at this. Bruno needs dropping, Martinez needs to be captain. Play Zirkzee or Mount at 10.

I have seen Pep Guardiola take KDB off countless times whenever he's not having a good game, even in high profile matches (such as the FA cup final last season). For the future, we need a 10 who has got a clever first touch, can carry the ball 20-30 yards when needed, can constantly be clever and shield the ball and is at the heart of most passing moves. It's not always about just making the pass for the assist but successfully making that pass which leads to an assist or the pass which can eventually lead to a goal. He may get an assist in a game but there would be 10 other instances where he makes a decision which hampers a move which could lead to a goal.

The thing with Bruno is that he was never a good technical player he works great in counter attacking teams where he can get the ball and pass it to runners. He doesn’t have the skill and ability of a 10. He can’t pick up the ball on half turn and beat his man, he’s not a good dribbler of the ball, he can make simple and obvious passes but I don’t think he’s a great passer, also his IQ is not high enough to make the right plays at the right time in tight spaces . If a 10 doesn’t possess any of these they will not survive in a possession based team and that’s what we seeing with Bruno.
Bruno been fooling this fan base for years playing hero ball and stat padding. He will not work in a possession based team tho.

Loads of us were saying this in the FIRST season. He got his individual G/A yet we saw how he vacated the midfield, we saw how he left Fred and Mctominay tonnes of running work to do.

I've been consistent with my opinion on Bruno & Rashford. I don't get swayed when they have a few half decent games. They are just not consistent enough, lack of quality & control. Most fans are like a bouncy ball which causes all your frustration and arguments with other United fans. It's OK to say that their time is up, esp for Rashford.
the issue isn't even bruno having a bad game, ten hag's lack of good in game management is the issue. he took off all of the players we could see were most effective instead of taking bruno and garnacho off. ten hag hung those players out to dry by internally sabotaging the setup that was killing palace for 60 odd minutes. bruno or anyone can have a bad game, but the manager has to recognize that and act accordingly so the other 17 players don't have to suffer. taking bruno off against brighton was stupid and chauvinistic, bruno looked our most likely creator in that game and mcsauce was already out the door, but big bad ten hag wanted to send a message. keeping bruno on against palace this time was a reaction to the media criticism for taking him off last time... ten hag is tone deaf, the decisions have just been so wrong in the context of what is actually happening right in front of him... on the pitch... on matchday.

Bruno needs to adjust his game. Drop him for Zirkzee for enough games so that he knows the team plays better without him and see how he comes back. Dont doubt bruno. I love Bruno, but can say that he has been diabolical this season. Maybe he has taken his eye of the ball after the new deal. He needs to be dropped for a few games. Eriksen, Mount, Zirkjee, Amad can all play in the 10. He needs to earn his way back. Need people who provide control.
We want to be harder to beat & control games better by 4.3.3. - this is why we're missing 'Pogba' type midfielders e.g. Barella, Fofana etc... can protect the ball better cos Bruno is the wrong type of player that can vary the pace of the game so we've prepare to replace Bruno next!
Due a poor start, we still expect minimum 4th place & some cups with this squad this season!

Bruno is similar to Casemiro in terms of in possession, they like to force balls and force attacks too much.. an XI including Eriksen is more about controlling the game, which is when either Zirkzee or Mount in the 10 or even Eriksen would be more productive for the style ETH wants to play (Mount because he's a pressing monster who recycles the ball well, Zirkzee because he brings in the wingers and Hojlund AND he recycles the ball well, Eriksen because his positional awareness puts him in the right place to play in the wingers and strikers

I used to love Bruno, he was absolutely magnificent for us for 2 or 3 seasons and single-handedly kept us afloat during those times, but I just don’t see why he has to play every game just because he’s the captain, can hand the armband to somebody else sometimes whilst still remaining the official club captain.

Bruno should've been hooked yesterday for sure. He's been having some bad games especially since this season started. Maybe having him coming off the bench will do him and the team some good for sure. However, for ppl to be clearly writing him off and putting the loss on him in a game where the team had several chances to score but couldn't is just ridiculous. There is nothing to talk about Bruno. Speaking as a Man United and Portugal fan, from the day we signed this guy yes he had a few bright months but he was always just an average player who constantly gives the ball away. You can't play any type of system or style of play with him, he doesn't help the team control the game and is always out of position on defense which puts more pressure on the overall midfield. Bruno should never be club captain or given a new deal.

I’ve always said Bruno and Rashford are the biggest problems. You mays scof and say left back is etc, I don’t meant game to game I mean long term. They’re issues. Either they play crap or managers have to accommodate them on the team and their styles don’t allow us to win. It’s like Ronaldo, he had to play and we had to accommodate him. When he left it freed up many others to do their thing and we played different.
