A 1937 Edward VIII 5 Pounds Pattern coin - one of only a small number of commemorative British gold coins produced for the would-be coronation of Edward VIII - set a world record as the most expensive British coin when it sold for $2,280,000 during a public auction of rare world coins held by Heritage Auctions on Friday, March 26.

Actually 4 special once were made British penny 1933 a wide range of mixture brass silver copper experimental and 7 was made out of just copper & brass no silver mixed and further 6 copies were made out of copper no brass

Mr .John Williams use to collect these gold sovereign's over 40 year's ago he was showing me his collection of gold sovereigns when i use to dance in dance halls of Ranks Mecca visited his house in England . don't know what happened to him but his sister's will have one or two not knowing the value of the sovereigns

Are you prepared for the 2 rarest coins one American Abraham Lincoln copper brass 1943 D not fake or copy or altered in any way and the other one 1933 British penny extremely rare as 4 was made from brass and copper with a mixture of silver experimental and 7 was made from pure copper and further fake 6 copies were made according to Amazon which they are correct and also rare and there are copies with marked as copy . Yes I am fully aware one was in private hand and one was in Royal Mint but it would be interesting what they have in their hand royalmint of United Kingdom is it made of copper only can be distinguished between the 4 and the 7 making it 11 and who gets to Heaven as these coins was made for church
