i just saw all your three videos i.e. Deep, Deep mucles of the back, A Vertebrae and Erector Spinae (back mucles) they are so well connected explaining the most important parts of Vertebral column and back muscle anatomy.. the way you explained the deepest muscles with those wires.. i was really awstruck at that moment.. you are my favourite anatomy teacher till now.. loads of respect for you sir.. :)
I am very grateful for your videos and have watched many of them because they are so useful. Many anatomy videos are boring and dry but yours are always lively and interesting. I especially like this one because this muscle group does not usually get talked about in such detail. It is good to be reminded of the high spindle count in these muscles and their important proprioceptive role. The body is wonderfully complex and your style of breaking it down into carefully explained detail and then gradually building up the picture of interconnected complexity is a rare gift. Thank you!

I have been looking at anatomy videos about the back for the past month because I enjoy proper deadlift exercise and yoga and want to have a healthy back. It seems to me that an understanding of the mechanics of the back can only be helpful in selecting and executing exercise. This video and the preceding one really hit the mark. I feel like I now know what is going on back there. Thank you.
This was such an enlightening video. I recently suffered a skateboarding injury where my lower spine went into excruciating pain, spasming frequently, it was (still is!) quite debilitating. After watching this and another video of yours, and doing a few twisting/stretching diagnostics on myself, I've been able to pinpoint which muscles are causing me trouble. With this I can join the dots with the skateboarding motion that caused the trauma, rehabilitate the problematic muscles, and adjust my skating routine until I regain full health. I thank you immensely, the information you're sharing with the world is top knotch and deeply appreciated

Yoga. Pascimottanasana, janu sirsasana, prvitta janu sirsasana and balasana. Always counter afterwards with any back stretch (cobra, wheel, bridge etc.)
I find the back facinating, all those muscle groups that not many people realise are even there. I made mistakes and now I live in pain, so take care of your back, you only have 1. great video :)

i got prolapsed disc at L3/4 about 18 months ago so i have to stretch whole bottom half of body every few hours 24/7. this helps to show what muscles are involved.

Are you taking the intro to pta class that is optional in some schools or reviewing on your own? Yeah, I like the human connection and powerpoint and watching them can get confusing and it is hard to visualize a lot of the things. I like these 3D models he uses.
i think my pain comes from Erector spinae(Lower back are that bulge`s when bending forward) it hurts so badly if i stand for several minutes so that i need to sit down or lay down, while i take medication i can atleast sitt but i still struggle with standing still, but am not sure witch one, do you have enny tip`s ojn specific excersise/training i can try over time to see if it maby help`s? :) Great Video :D ps i reposted this question on the other vide too youst incase you dont see the comment :) ps From Norway with dyslexia :D

Hi sir your videos are amazing i love watching it....i hv a chronic back pain frm last 10 yrs, my MRI report says tht i hv posterior disc bulge at L5-S1...my doubt is 'can the deeper muscles at L5-S1 will help to push my disc back to normal place ?'' is tht possible ?
I think my back pain is due to one-sided problem with Transverse spinalis. I get a stabbing pain usually when partially flexing and twisting. I then do a side bend to the opposite side and it stretches, sometimes pops painlessly and releases. Don't know why it happens. I have a bulging disc at that spot too, but this is always relieved by a stretch every time

Probably rib subluxation and the bulging doesn’t usually cause too many issues but indicative of dysfunction region
