    Cant believe u were not in Samet before.. i love it there..who needs koh Samui or phuket or koh Kut when u have koh samet so close to u with the many beautiful beaches and its not commercialized..that main street on your way home has about 5 bars but only 2 bars have girlie's. There is 2 seven 11s, more cheap thai restaurants, coffee shops and the one ATM. Samet is great, I stayed in Avatara b4 but a lot of steps to the rooms.. around the main street is cheap and cheerful for island prices but my go to place is Green Bay resort, great location , good price..Next time u go , stay for 4 nights.. great relaxation and get on the bike and stop around the beaches for lunch.. enjoy your videos,, keep it up dude..😮

      @@GreenyTravels you should, but you are right about the songthaew. Those speed bumps hurt my girlfriend’s hip. 555 rough ride.

    U can get a big catarmaran boat also, not as fast as the speed boat but quicker than the normal boat and its smooth

    I went there for 3 nights about 3 years ago. I walked from the main beach to the sunset place around the side of the island across the rocks. My feet and legs were done in by the time I got to sunset beach. Walked back along the main road.
    The joy of not owning a bike.
    Keeps you fit. Nice island.
    I got a,speedboat there, ferry back. The broken back wasnt worth the hassle.

    Had all the nightlife we needed in Pattaya so we used to go Ao Wong Duean beach on Koh Samet for white sand and peace and tranquility with just two restaurants and jungle walks.

    We visited Koh Samui and all the Krabi places but we figured out very fast that we leave those places for the "real" tourists" 😁
    Phuket we don't even want to visit, my Lady is Thai and also never been there 🤣
    Koh Samet together with Koh Chang are our 2 favorite islands to go to.

    • @GreenyTravels
      @GreenyTravels  9 месяцев назад +1

      I love them all. The variety. Koh Chang probably the tops due to low crowds and proximity. I wish there was an easier way to get to Koh Tao

      Yeh out of 1400, there’s only about 50-60 that are actually habitable. Most of those 1400 are a tiny rock with a few trees.

    You are 20+ years late !!!!!! Kho Samet was a truly amazing place where travellers hadn't really been there - back in the day. Now you youtubers think you know everything about SEA - Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, China and many, many more countries around the world, I have lived in. You all know nothing about these original true, raw places. Keep on 'knowing everything' - you know nothing - I pity your ignorance 😂😂😂😂😂
