Now him and I can’t stop playing it. Ofcourse he’s only 3 so I have pretty much soloed everything but I found myself playing the game on my own to unlock things so he can have fun the next time I go hang out with him For 3 yo he’s actually not bad at the game. He watched me and kinda picked up what to do. He still struggles with somethings but he knows how to parry. He can parry, dodge, into another parry and things like that. It’s crazy that a 3 year old does so well with such a difficult game but yeah… Cuphead really made uncle and nephew time that much more fun.

That the DLC is retailing for only 8 dollars, just shows they are not doing this for the money. I love the music lf the base game, and this is just as good if not better. Studio MDHR keep being an amazing company!🙌☺️

soooo AMAZING I just hope either the boss fight is super long or the yodeling is put earlier in the in-game mix. one of my small gripes with Cuphead is that most bosses don't go over 2 minutes and it usually means you don't get to hear some of the best parts of the song!
This game is the epitome of a double-edged sword. One hand: beautiful visuals and slick gameplay. On the other hand: brutal, punishing, unforgiving, & soul-crushing (no pun intended) difficulty.

I heard this solo once while trying to Ace the boss, not sure how often you’ll get that solo while playing but did and it surprised me how dope the solo was hope you manage to also find the solo while playing
An absolute incredible feat of orchestration and composition!! Love the pedal steel, the yodeling, the horse hooves, tuba, fiddle, combined with big band?! Chefs kiss!!!

The reason I love this song and fight so much is how well timed the music is. It picks up right as you get to the second phase and usually changes verses right when I get to each phase

I notice that while the original has more characteristics of standard recording 30s Ellington style jazz band, this takes on a more "Scored" kind of feel that the cartoons themselves often had. Where the music is less about a central melody and more about the overall theme (although these tracks have both)

Certain tracks in the base-game seem so deliberate however, like Grim Matchstick’s theme having a “medieval” feel to it, and Dr Kalh’s robot’s theme sounding more like a kaiju battle than most themes. That being said, I would certainly agree that most songs seemed to be picked and chosen for bosses at random. That is, until the DLC released where each boss’s theme is very much specifically tailored to the character.
I think this song might actually be Sheriff Winchester's boss theme since it gives off that western bluegrass type feel but it also could be Glumstone the Giant's theme as well.
pretty sure it's Winchester's boss theme cause the title has "High Noon" in it, which was a common phrase back in "wild west" that meant 12:00 PM (noon)

The way they mix all the bluegrass southern country tones and feelings in there while keeping the swing aspect of Cuphead itself is practically flawless and everyone sounds like they’re having so much fun! You know it’s a good sign when I literally have happy giggles while listening to the song. Although I think this will either be Winchester’s boss theme or the theme for a run and gun right before her fight. Nevertheless immaculate song so good
It must be a nightmare to record this level of complex tracks in this style for a full game, seriously it just goes to show you how much more complex a single song is from Cuphead, compared to most others from a majority of games!

Apparently that’s because Kristofer Maddigan never actually saw what the fights were like, and so just made the songs without much of a basis.

I´m always so happy when i watch this. Cuphead has been one of my favorite games ever since it came out. I remember beating the game when i was 7. Now I´m 13 and it's nice to look back on a game i loved so much. This was game so much fun. Outstanding job to you Studio MDHR!!!!!
