been twinking for some years now never had any type of ban
I totally played with a guy the other day in a random that was level 11 twink. I was dungeon leveling my 10th class to max level and was in the 50's. This guy was chain running Plaguefall because he had some sort of item that let him basically one shot the bosses. Remembering your experience and the seeing that other players were confused and thought he was cheating I relayed him your story and told him that he should probably give a short explanation to people so they don't report him for cheating. I stayed in his group all the way until I got to 60 when I went to the dragon isles. The leveling was so fast but because I gave him the warning he was letting people know what he was doing and how he was doing it. It was actually a lot of fun and saved me a couple hours of leveling time.

How does the level scaling system work ? As in- how were You in a group with a level 11 character playing the "same" content ?
@@wilhelmscream6919 Blizzard made it in leveling groups that everything scales to your level. What might hit a level 50 character for say 1k damage might only hit a level 15 charcter for 50 damage. My numbers are for explanation purposes and not accurate. The same goes for damage dealt just in reverse. They just redid the math in the game to make it so you can group up in leveling content with characters of different levels and have it run smoothly and they actually did a really good job at it. It's a very underrated accomplishment from Blizzard.
@@straighttalkwithkyle7947 do You also know why the video talks about playing at level 10/11 and not 20 ? I'm looking at it from the perspective of a Free/Veteran account.
@@wilhelmscream6919 yes I know. Not sure what your point is. Also, this was 4 months ago. Go engage with something current. Being bothered for something from months ago is annoying as hell.
Great video! Hatebinger is awesome, but I'd recommend Warforged - Nhallish's Bloody Polearm for more dps. Interesting side note, I found Bonemaw's Big Toe to be the most common drop of all the gear, so much so that I started collecting them. I've got twelve standard toes and two Warforged, yet I still haven't gotten Warforged Gloves or a belt, yet. lol

As someone who routinely monk boosted friends and my own alts with plenty of pugs being impressed at my ability to solo the dungeon along the way, never had an issue with being banned.
EU player though, most pugs are just happy for the free ride as they're rushing to max level.
Hi! Do you think twinking will be a thing in The War Within?
Hey, just curious because I’ve tried stopping my xp at like 39 and 49. The BG queue would hit like 2 hours without me being able to enter. Is this a normal problem? Is there a sweet spot to stop your xp and still be able to get decent BG queue time?
Xpoff chars Can only queue with other xpoff… you’d need to do something to get past this that I’m unaware of, or just play the level 20 bracket where you get queued with free to play people as well. It might give you better time queues
I see level 69 with ilvl 420 gear. How does that happen?
What exactly is the benefit of capping xp at level 10 vs 11?
Curious for this as well. Previously 11 had significantly more stat over 10. I've heard that 10 feels stronger than 11 from a number of people. Scaling might be stronger at a lower level like 10 over 11. Though I do know a few classes get a lot better at 11. Like Druid.

I saw a couple Twink characters the other day, while looking for gear, but they were level 20 instead of 10 or 11. Is there any reason for this?
Late reply but, 20 twinks are usually f2p players. The f2p twink scene is probably one of the more active ones.
they nerfed the hek out of warforged gear. any idea where to get gear now?

I used to play vanilla wow and had a level 19 undead rogue that used to absolutely own. I haven’t played since burning crusade. Back then you didn’t get XP for playing BGs
Thinking at lvl11 is the easiest for some reason but getting fully warforge geared at 20 is almost impossible ive done irondocks 28times and burialgrounds 17times and I've only gotten 6 warforges on a level20 while I got a lvl11 fully warforge geared in 3days

not debuff xp? I believe this is considered an exploit. Because on the islands, the buff of blocked experience sometimes disappears. I strongly advise against doing it. They have never banned for this, but there’s always a first time for everything
Myself and many of my friends been doing it for years, works fine, not an exploit it's just playing the game.
Is this a video on how to make a twink ? Or how not to get banned lol? Also where can you get better weapons at lvl 10 11 if all dungeons you speak of are gear ? Trying to get better item lvl than 33
CROW WING REAPER is way better than HATEBRINGER for warrior/paladin

Not exactly sure what you're asking, but twinks are not relegated to lvls 10-20, they can be any level below maximum. So in that sense, every level can get good gear.

the easiest way to choose a character, roll an allied race, go to a dummy and start slapping it, i found ele shaman to be absolutely dumb damage.
and to add to this, resto druid/ resto shaman do more damage then their damage dealing counter part, a level 10 resto druid spamming wrath in just basic gear does 150-200 damage per wrath, after gear you can only imagine how dumb it is.
I think that playing for hours on end can get you banned. If you are going to play all day, take a break. Log out, walk around your house, and open the game back up. Play another character for a bit, and then go back to what you were doing. I got banned once for botting for gold, even though I had only 3 gold. But I had been playing too long for a few days. They will never tell you why they banned you.
why stop exp at lvl 11 instead of 19 for more abilities?

Why level 10/11 and not 20 ? Asking from the perspective of a Free/Veteran account.
The reason is because the level directly impacts power level. The lower the level, the higher the power, which equals how easy it is to defeat an enemy. This results in a sitatuon where a level 10 can, due to level scaling, kill enemies more effectively than some max-level characters. That said, level 10 comes with the downside of having more restrictions than a level 20, hence the pros and cons.

Blizzard already did something about that. twinks can only queue with each other in battlegrounds and arena's. There is a way to queue with non twinks, but it's against TOS.
scaling in this game is already fucked up to the point that u can out dps as a tank whole dungeon group by being lower lvl than the rest of the group
