Watching this makes the Nostalgia hit hard: Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, James Jones, Jordy Nelson, now THAT was a receiving core
Corp*
@@MrTherealestmco core !
And good rb's, also charles woodson
Zach Krampien don’t forget mike McCarthy as the coach
I’m a pats fan and couldn’t agree more. Football fan first. What a freaking crew.
Receivers then - Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, James Jones, Jordy Nelson. . . Receivers now - Davante Adams . . .and that's it.
Ironically, Aaron Jones is a better receiver than most of our actual ones 🤨
Yet, still 1 sb
You got the great DA, don't sleep in Lazard. Mark my words that kid had a future with this franchise.
I bet a 2nd rounder we from Colorado this year comes in clutch. Top tier TE incoming?? Rumors and speculation.
Bring Greg Olsen in that might help
Abogaczyk maybe the other receivers would be better if they had linebackers matched up with them
I miss Jay Cutler. He was a pleasure to watch as a Packers fan 😂
He was one best QB’s Green Bay ever had! Hahaha 😂
To be fair, have they really had much better since?
LOL!!! 🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
I swear to God there's a picture somewhere of Jay Cutler smoking a cigarette on the sidelines
"Aaron Rodgers should not have slide there. That was too big a moment in the game. You give yourself up there and lock up that first down."
LOL
Everything that announcer said aged so poorly. He said almost nothing after Rodgers threw the final touchdown.
Yeah, much better to dive head first and crash head on with two opposing players and be paralyzed for the rest of your life lol
He would have been right if it were 3rd (or especially 4th) down. Packers would obviously have gone for it on 4th down, which is why they took their shot on third down. Collinsworth was just wrong. Securing the ball and (what was supposed to be) avoiding the hit was the priority on 2nd down.
Yeah, I was thinking yeah OK Chris.
He didn't know what Aaron was really
And a year later we would win the Super Bowl as a wild card team...
This team should have won multiple super bowls, but the front office screwed everything up after the super bowl!! Not resigning Cullen Jenkins, releasing Nick Barnett, and bad draft decisions!! They should have resigned those players and spent most of their 2011 and 2012 picks on defense!! I love this team, but the bad decisions that they made showed when the defense in 2011 was nonexistent and they were upset by a mediocre giants team that survived because they played against Mark Sanchez and Tony Romo to finish the regular season.
@@Wolf_3125 and now you guys drafted jordan love
Atleast you guys have more than one super bowl. You guys got 4
@@bird_gang_az9598 true
This is 2008 -2009, we won the super bowl 2010-2011
6:13 Who says getting a first down is more important than being able to walk... No one in their right mind would dive headfirst into 2 players coming at you at full speed
John Elway
Right! During that Vikings Packers game he should have stayed in pocket instead of rolling out n throwing a late pass witch resulted his collar bone injury that still gets to him now a days
@@pf3623 he said in his right mind
I still remember watching that and all of us were like dude you want his career to be over already??

Sadly
I just hope he’s capable.
Sadly me
Shamed but ya

Yeah Joe Buck is a moron. Lol. I don't think he would have gotten the first down anyway.

LMFAO😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jay Cutler. The best player on defense.
Green Bay's Top 4 Quarterbacks:
1 - Bart Starr

What about Rex Grossman?
He had to earn the mustache.
Aaron Rodgers. Owning the Bears since 2009

Nathan Kolesar 1 Super Bowl isn’t owning the nfl 😂😂
Ben Mayo and deflating footballs is?
Nathan Kolesar when did he say that lol
And of course cutler throws an int in the 4th 😂
This is when Aaron started to 'own' them!
Not. He never owned the Bears.
@@bonitaedlebeck3062 😂
I miss this old packers team... terrible management destroyed our defense. Thank goodness we picked up two potentially very good corners this year. We may have a shot at a deep playoff run again.
Don't forget new gm and no dom capers
mustache wizard Yeah that made a friend of mine and I very happy. I remember in one of the last games of the year, the announcers were talking about Capers, and I was amused because they were talking about him like he was a solid coordinator.
Andrew Bowers ya, hopefully we can stay healthy and make a run
Ya so do I I mean we used to have guys like Donald Driver, Greg Jennings, and Jordy Nelson. And what do we have not Davonte Adams and a few other guys who always seem to be hurt in some way.
While the management/coaching certainly hurt more than it helped, I don’t think you can pin it all on them. That defense, and the secondary specifically, has been hurt by things largely out of the control of staff. Losing Nick Collins and Sam Shields and then having Rollins and Randall being busts (something you can’t REALLY predict) didn’t help.
As a Packer fan, I’m from Wisconsin, one of my favorite packers was Ryan Grant, an amazing Running Back that had plenty of 1,200+ yard seasons, and a leg injury in the SB year ruined his career. No one really remembers who he was. But I remember and he could have been great. I miss this team. Sad that injuries and age happen.
Omg yes. I remember him and I think he would have been a true legend.
What about Starks?!
@@Beetlejuice_88 as a Bucs fan… fr what in the hell happened to Starks? That guy was a bad man
@@Guilty-Gator a Bad Man indeed brother
Dude was garbage.
his TD-INT rating is out of this world
Over 330+ TDs to 80 INTs thats amazing 🐐
@Jubei Yang what does that have to do with anything lmao Brett Favre was sacked alot and had pressure on him and had 300+ INTs. Rodgers gonna finish with at least 500+ TDs and probably less than 100 INTs
Jubei Yang Favre made idiotic throws into double coverage a lot he literally just threw up a prayer everytime. 2009 NFC championship vs NO Saints he was running out the pocket and threw it into double coverage and it got picked off. Rodgers would throw the ball away. Rodgers like Favre try to extend plays too long that’s why why he get sack a lot but he also haven’t had a good offensive line in awhile
@Jubei Yang i would rather my qb take a sack or throw it away because he holds on to the ball too long sometimes than throw up a prayer. How tf are you going to rationalize gifting the other team the ball as "not taking it lying down"?
@Jubei Yang You are pretty stupid aren't you. Rodgers has only been sidelined due to injury 3 times in 13 years. That is a far fetch from "Always Injured"
Brian Urlacher, Donald Driver it’s weird hearing those names
THICC raw sauce Nd one Rodgers broke his collerbone Nd the other one was week 3 of the super bowl season
Am I the only one who nuts when they watch Aaron Rodgers throw a football
Auto pilot 001 lmao
Auto pilot 001 no I'm with you
I would imagine that's a how line of coke feels every time I watch him throw a pass
No, but I feel a sudden earge to yell Skol randomly when the Vikings play
I'm a Raider fan, but he's the greatest QB to ever play. No one can throw the ball, read the field and escape pressure like he can. We might never see a QB as good as Rodgers ever again
From this video forward, bears fans have nightmares of mr rodgers
It is time for da Bears to build a defense that will be similar to the one they had in 85/86.
Jesse Hernandez not really whenever the bears play packers I don’t fear at all actually it anything I feel bad for packers sometimes
@@beanz4013 rodgers is 17-5 against the bears I believe. You have an interesting perspective, sir, I'll give you that.
David Richardson well sir, I really don’t fear the packers even with that record because you never know, the could turn around. And most of those losses are from when jay cutler was qb and he was pretty bad for some time.
@@beanz4013 Rodgers owns da bears.
LMAO Aaron Rodgers is the greatest QB in Bears history. 😂😂 To bad for Bears fans he plays for their biggest rival. 😂😂
And Cutler is the greatest in Packers history lol
When I was young, I remember Bears fans showing me the face-to-face matchup stats (win/losses) and I remember thinking the Bears beat the Packers so much they'd never catch up. Holy shit two QBs changed that really fast.
Everyone owns the sad bears
@@paulkaehn6203 Cutler was great. Not his fault he was surrounded by trash coaches and trash players
@@PRHILL9696 I agree. He was crazy talented.
The video that made Highlight Heaven famous
Meanwhile, Cutler threw 4 picks in his Bears debut. Polar opposites.
The best Packers player that wasn't on their roster, of all-time.
This wasn't Rodgers debut tho...
TheCatheterCozy, this game was Cutler's Bears premiere though. And it showed that Cutler and Rodgers were polar opposites.
Cutler was great. Not his fault he was surrounded by trash coaches and trash players
@@PRHILL9696 Cutler was terrible. Ever since we got rid of him we have already started improving and getting better over the years. How well did the dolphins play with him?
This game was played in September 2009 and the Bears led the series 90-80-6. Fast forward to September 2021 and now the Packers lead the series 103-95-6. The Packers were the first team with 100 wins against an NFL rival. Gives proof Aaron Rodgers owns Da Bears.
What's the math behind this? Don't they normally play two games a season? That would be 24-26 games... they total around 40. I imagine there are some post-season games but that's almost like 15 games in the postseason? ... are there other games I'm not aware of?
@@Bobertprime from 80-90-6 to 103-95-6 for the packers, so it's 23-5-0 from 2009. 28 games including the one in playoffs in 2011 I guess
@@Bobertprime That statistic,if true, would represent 28 games and a Green Bay edge of 23-5.

Seriously....Farve AND Rodgers?
You’re talking 30 years of great quarterbacking in 2 guys.
I’m just a bitter Bears fan. I can name 30 quarterbacks we’ve had over 2 years.
Mitch might be good not Rodgers or Brett Favre good but he maybe can win if that defense carries him
Freakin bears suck. Shut the f up
"should have been a headfirst slide" ahh the good ole days
The Bears have only won 2 games vs the Packers since.
Lord Deathwake morons couldn’t even beat Brett Hundley
I count three. Unless you mean at Lambeau. Two at Lambeau (2013 when Rodgers went down, and 2015 on Thanksgiving), one in Chicago in 2010 on Monday night.
Misery loves company. Time to stop this failure starting this year.

Aaron Rodgers: one of THE best quarterbacks in the mfing NFL!😍💚💛PACKERS ALL DAY! GO PACK GOOO👌🏾
Imagine being a Bears fan thinking Favre just retired and now you have the best defense in the league with a young up and coming QB who could be your franchise guy.
Fucking great
Oddly enough, also the game when I decided I'd like to never hear Cris Collinsworth ever again.
Now here's a guy-
Amen
Rodgers single handedly changed the rivalry, taking what Favre started. In Favre’s first years and prior, the rivalry was all bears.
You're delirious. You can't take anything away from Favre. He gave us 16 good years of football. I looked forward to every weekend. It was exciting. With Rogers, his drab demeanor doesn't cut it at all. And just for the record; Rogers doesn't own the Bears. It's simply one of his fantasies.
Yea we used to kick y’all ass packer fan but I can’t lie y’all been kicking our ass consistently since y’all started rodgers lol
I'm glad he slid; we didn't know Aaron Rodgers would become the first Aaron Rodgers.
Seeing jordy in that opening kickoff made me miss him 😢😢😢
Rodgers terrorizing the Bears? Seems about right
Nick Nasty Not necessarily terrorizing but more like dominating.
Yeah but that’s about to flip here pretty soon
vSxpreme Always 🐻⬇️
Who doesn't terrorize the bears!
Every one has terrorized the bears for 100 years now
Lovie Smith: "I'm here to beat the Packers" How that work out for you😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
He went 6-10 so no too bad
Aaron Rodgers>>>>>>Tom Brady
Game on joe It's really not even close tbh
Nick Karlin Agreed my friend
Makes sense to me. Cutler outplayed Brady last season during that Monday night game when the Dolphins stomped the Pats. And here we see Cutler losing to Rodgers.
RIPjkripper lol I'm not sure if your serious but it's more of a eye comparison. Just watch the two for a game and it should be clear.
True he has more talent
The interception at the end is my favorite part
I haven’t watched a Packer game live in 2 years, yeah I’m one of those people, but watching these highlights of years gone by make me nostalgic and sad because we know what’s happened over the last decade. Watching arguably the best QB to play the game being wasted with crap coaches and lazy stuck up GM’s who are always “building for the future” instead of building for now. Disappointing.
5:09 why does aaron rodgers look like an indian guy lol
lmfaooo
Bro, that killed me! LOL great comment
Finally somebody else sees it too!
Arab Rodgers
Lol
Crazy to think this guy only has one Super Bowl. Goes to say how tough this league is.
Not surprising at all. Doesn't look hopeful this year either.
The game for me was against Dallas where he came in for an injured Favre... that was the game he become famous with the Packers fan base....
That moment highlight heaven uploads multiple vids a day and still has better content than the majority of youtubers
Nathan Kolesar
AllStar 5 -yes?-
Cutler threw like 5 INTs that game and the Packers still barely won... weird game
Charles Boynton he throws 5 pics in every game.
Lmao. I'm ded
Yup.
Rodgers is such a well balanced, great QB. He’s the perfect mix between extremely efficient yet not scared to sling the ball, has great throws with excellent velocity with phenomenal arm strength, is a PERFECT game manager, can lead a drive, and can make THAT throw to win a game. He’s also great with his legs to move the chains when needed.
With a new coaching staff and GM this is going to be a fantastic year for the packers
Ah-h-h not-so-much. Time for Rogers to seriously consider retirement.
I will never forget that throw to Jennings. I was in serving in the USMC in Okinawa, Japan. I missed the entire 2008 season due to bootcamp and other training. That day I was told to go drive to a remote site with another guy. I went to lunch at a place that had the game on and was able to watch the last 5 minutes. That throw to GJ was my first experience of Aaron Rodgers.
Semper Fi, Nick!
SEMPER GUMBY
So... you didn’t miss the whole season. You got to see 5 mins of it 😂😂
Nick my first time watching Rodgers was the playoff game against AZ. I also missed because of boot camp and other training. He blew me away with his talent. Rodgers is insane
This game made Jay Cutler famous, he was always good for at least 1 INT, almost every Packers-Bears game after this. Same old Jay.
I know my man just won MVP again in '20 but watching highlights from him 2015 and prior its a shock to see how much faster he was, running and his release/ball speed.
AR12 the GOAT! Simple as that! 🤷🏻♂️
Game that made Larry Fitzgerald famous
Which game was that 1?
Wow, it's so funny, lookin back on that amazing TD pass, 3rd and 1, could've gone for the 1st down but no, deep shot. No wonder we're struggling today, nearly 10 years later still trying to do the same thing.
Im a big fan of your channel. I literally searched this title in earlier today and couldnt find the video. Great job! Love the Packers.
Im a bears fan and rodgers is one of my top 5 favorite qbs of all time. Best thrower of the football of all time. Mans a nfl great. Cocky tho lol comes with being great

Josh #LarryFitz #BetterThanMoss #11GOAT BIRDGANG Respect to Larry Fitz man, I admire his love for the game
Who esle wants to see Dallas cowboys in Supearbowl who wants to see dak Prescott and Tom Brady face each other or Aaron Rodgers vs Tom brady
Something that's been forgotten is that SF had just hired head coach Mike Nolan, who they thought was good for some reason, and gave him complete control over their #1 pick, which everyone thought would be Rodgers (who went to Cal across the bay, to boot). It was widely reported in the local press at the time.
Man... Driver... absolutely fearless in the middle running against safeties... Nelson... the YAC he had... Al Harris... I was there when he had the interception on the "we want the ball and we're gonna score" fiasco. Ha ha... it was bedlam in the stands after that. Strangers hugging and high-fiving, this kid (16 maybe 17) picked me up and jumped and down. Ha ha. Makes me nostalgic too.
Game that made Clay Matthew famous
best matthew game was the first game of 2010 season when matthew face plant kevin kolb face into the turf at philly...matthew from behind in a full sprint grab kolb, pin his arms against his body and drive him into the turf...
Ain’t that crazy ,
“Bears lead all time 90-80-6 record”
Rodgers caught the Packers up and passed them , that’s how dominant he’s been against Chicago ,the Packers have won 10 more games than Chicago in the series now, that’s a 20 game swing in the overall record.
It’s 105-95-6 now for the Packers.
And if you go back to before Favre , cause he was just as dominant against them , when Favre first started for the Packers I think at some point he was like 20-4 against the Bears his first decade in the league , so it’s just wild to see now , especially if you were around in the 80’s when it was all Chicago for a long time.
Favre and Rodgers only having a ring a piece is such a travesty
Before the mustache.
I may be biased because I’m a huge Packers fan from Wausau, Wisconsin, but in my lifetime, I’ve never seen a quarterback as good as Aaron Rodgers. I know Tom Brady is incredible as well, and has a crap ton of rings, but physically, I don’t think anyone is as good as Rodgers....ever. Their defense has been horrendous since the Super Bowl season, and yet they contend every year because of him. He’s unreal.
The game that made Jordan Howard famous .... 5th round pick to success
I’m a die hard Denver fan, but when I watch Rodgers play I fucking love it, the dude is just seriously in his own lane
The game that made Travis Kelce famous. You’ve already done Gronk, now it’s time to do one for the actual best tight end in the NFL.
How dare you XD
If it wasn't for pushing off on defenders, Gronk would have half the catches that he actually has.
WD True. Kelce & Gronk match up against each other very well in every category except for speed, which Kelce has Gronk beat at.
WD gronk is way better than Travis kelce
lol kelce is better only in your dreams. gronk has had the best stretch of a TE ever in the history of the NFL. he is elite at every aspect of his position. easily in the top 2 ever. probably finishes #1

Not a Rogers fan. Media (bromances) blow his talents way outta proportion. He's really off kilter this year as well. I certainly hope they focus on choosing a well deserved player for MVP this year. If you recall how bizarre he was last year and they still gave it to him. Seriously?
The game that made Philip Rivers famous
Oh now I get it, Bears have won 9, Packers 13 NFL championships. Chicago I pity you. Such a great city with such a lousy football 😁
*Watching 9 years later*
Aaron is so fast
Chicago Bears look better when they wear white jerseys and navy pants. All white look in football sucks and nobody can ever convince me to change my mind.
Rule of thumb: It doesn't matter which of the 31 other NFL franchises visits Lambeau Field. They won't have the best looking uniforms from top to bottom. The Green Bay Packers always will look better. 🏈
(Don't even remind me of the 2 Thursday Night Football Color Rush games of 2016 and 2017. The Packers should never look how they did for those 2 games.)
Personally, I loathe the "throwback" uniforms.

The game-winning TD pass, while it may seem like ancient history, was significant in the rise of Aaron Rodgers as this was his first late game come from behind NFL victory. Packers fans will remember that Rodgers first season in succession of Brett Favre (2008) was a fine campaign. But the Packers lost an unusual amount of close games to finish 6-10. Fair or not, critics would make the comparison between Rodgers and Favre. "Oh, sure", they would say, "Rodgers can put up big numbers, but can he come through in the last three minutes like Favre?" In 2008, the answer was no. But in this opening Sunday Night game of 2009, Rodgers silenced those critics.
It's actually laughable now. "Ah crap, they left 37 seconds on the clock. That's too much against Rodgers."
