Email me at sparksflyup-at-gmail-dot-com with your name, your address, and where you ordered the book from, and a beautiful and very very rare signed bookplate will be sent to you.)

I like to think that John Green's books secretly take place in the same universe. Sure you can read them and they might not have any connections whatsoever but it is still fun to think that they might just all be living in the same universe. All those stories going on, their separate but similar.

I think reading books has made me more sympathetic. There have been moments where something reminds me of a memory, as if it happened to me, and on a rare occasion, I remember these faded memories. They're from stories. I still haven't read TFIOS (heresy, I know, I've been busy) but from what I hear, see, and know about it, it'll be more to add to this growing amount of experiences I never actually had.

John Green, I read your book nonstop last night... It took my five hours to get through it... I spent one of hour that bawling my eyes out. I do believe that your book is the best book I have ever read in my whole entire life. (I read about 24 books a month and I started reading this much when I was ten.... So, I've read about 1440 books in five years...) This book has left me in awe because I have never felt this much from/in a book since I read Les Mis and even in Les Mis I didn't have this much emotion. (And trust me, Les Mis is an emotion pit of desaster.) I think you for your amazing talents at writing such an amazing and inspiring novel. I hope to read plenty more of your books in the future. (And I can't wait for the movie to come out, I'll probably be sitting in the theatre cuddling your book and dying on the inside the whole time...)
    Bless your soul, John Green.

Wait, since at one point Gus talks about the tomatoes in the sandwiches he makes when he's telling Hazel Grace how he's using his wish to let her to to Amsterdam, the book does technically talk about fruit, because biologically, although not legally, tomatoes are fruits.

I want to give you a formal thank you for writing the Fault in Our Stars. I know this video's from a while ago, but I hope you know how much this story has meant to me. My boyfriend actually got me to read his book. His twin sister died of cancer, and it was her very favorite book, and my boyfriend told me about it and it's really helped both me and him. It's like, hard to explain, but it's really given me the motivation to live life to it's fullest, and it's helped me to get over depression. In fact, on May second, I carried it around to me because it was a wonderful reminder of how precious life is. It's given me so much to live for, the story itself is beautiful, and I'm really thankful for everything you've done. You have probably saved me from committing suicide. I'm really thankful for everything you've done. You're an amazing artist, and The Fault in Our Stars means the world to me. Thank you so much.

I cried once when reading TFIOS, when Agustus said that he hated himself. I bawled because I used to literally hate myself and Agustus is so loved in so many ways by so many people. And despite the fact that he does not exist, but in my head and yours, he is loved by me and is one of the most important people in my life. He and Hazel taught me being brave isn't always about being put up against and enemy, but somedays maybe fighting yourself for control of your own body. I love them, for they are both lodged in my heart forever. Always.

I finished reading the book about two weeks ago. I had to wait for about three or more months for it. I am glad I found the book, this channel, crash course channel, mentalfloss channel, and scishow. I wished I found these channels years ago! I have been watching too many beauty videos on RUclips.

OMG I have just finished The Fault in our Star. I have to congratulated you it's an amazing book. Gus and Hazel have stolen my heart. Your book it's spectacular. I couldn't stop crying, you are such an awesome writer. One of the best books ever :) One of the things that I love about it is that is kind of real, I mean, not everybody always have a happy ending. But you taught us that some infinites are longer than another ones. They are true love. Thank you.

Barnes and Noble just advertised The Fault in Our Stars last week on huge posters in the front of the store at about the same time I began watching your channel. I picked up the "Exclusive Collector's Edition" almost right away. I can say that it was an excellent choice for the first printed work of fiction (not pixels) I've read in about 6 years. I read half of it this morning and intend to finish it tonight. It's a wonderful piece of literature. Thank you!

I was absolutly blown away by this story. I loved the witty humor, the jokes weren't like "lololololol", they were more like "ha." jokes and I love that in a book. I felt instantly conected with Hazel from the moment i picked up the book. I loved her realistic outlook on life. And Gus's love for metahpors... And at the the end, I truly sobbed uncontrolably. Maybe I was just hormonal and tired (I was up till 4am finishing this thing) but I have never been touched like that from a book. Thank You.

I just finished it, I'll be honest.. I bought it when it first came out.. life got in the way.. really wish it didn't, I now understand life and love... I wouldn't say better, but I understand them in a different way. I'm extremely glad that this book is in my life, I'm planning on re-reading it very soon. That says something because I'm not much of a reader, but I'm thinking of making that a new thing in my life. Thanks John, I'm honoured to have met you for a brief moment at vidcon last year.

'The Fault in Our Stars' is like my 'An Imperial Affliction'. I've read it a million times and still love, and I think its just such a wonderful gift that only Nerd Fighters should read it to preserve it's rare beauty.

The Fault in Our Stars. This story happened to my bestfriend and i, except from the fact i dont have cancer and he didnt take me on holiday. We fell in love after a long string of events but his cancer came back and finally killed him. After reading this, it brought back all of the memories of him. To John Green, thank you for writing the most amazing, heart wrenching book i have ever read (and coming from a girl who is a massive book nerd), and to Adam, i love you.

This is my FAVOURITE BOOK EVERRRRRR!!!! I literally walked into a bookshop knowing I needed to get this book, saw it instantly and bought it. I proceeded it read it in a matter of hours(over the course of a couple of days) and it made me cry my eyes out. Then as soon as I finished it I put it down, and then picked it up and started reading it again. I cried again. I am now reading it for the 3rd time and I doubt I will ever read a book as undeniably moving ever again; so thank you John Green!!!

This past weekend I was at a state drama competition. I was both delighted and surprised to find that one of the group interpretations ( which for those of you who do not know are where you take a script or story and take away the set, costumes and direct interaction between characters, and by that I mean talking face to face, and perform it that way with parts in unison, it sounds lame but it's really cool. Look it up, my explanation really doesn't give it justice) was Fault in Our Stars.

My boyfriend's uncle (who was only 3 years older than him, and more like a brother) died three years ago at the age of 17 from a brain tumor. It's hard to imagine what Andy was feeling during the last few months of his life. I gave TFiOS to my boyfriend (for obvious reasons) and he came up to me crying 3 days later. He said, "It was hard to read. But feelings had to be felt." It sounded like something Hazel would say. Feelings have to be felt. John, thank you for making us feel them. Thank you.

I'm not a huge reader. It usually takes me months to finish just one book. But then I started reading The Fault in Our Stars and I couldn't put it down. Read the whole book in 8 hours. I love it so much. Going to read some more of your books. :)
