- Today was Charlies first ever full tree removal from start to finish. Charlie was practicing his cuts and learning some basic rigging for his test in a couple months and I would say he's made a great start.

Enjoyed the video. Slow and easy wins the day. Good job Charlie.
You let Charlie crack on and learn but you were watching him and coaching him when necessary. That’s solid teaching. Although there’s probably thirty years between me and Charlie, we’re both at the same stage in climbing and treework. I just got my climbing and cutting tickets end of last year. Definitely want to see more of you teaching and Charlie learning.
Well done Charlie!
Thanks ye I recon the best way to learn is by doing and learning from your mistakes. I will keep doing what I’m doing and let Charlie crack on 💪🏻👍🏻
Well done Charlie.
Thanks again Mick...and you Charlie. Great job and good tutoring. It will be good to watch Charlies progression. I can learn along with him.
Thanks again mate 👍🏻
Nice work!
Im a New zealend apprentice nice to see the same learning

Subtitulos en español...
I will try make some subtitles 👍🏻
i’m curious about the tickets?? is that necessary for all tree workers in your area? My apologies i’m American and you can just decide one day you wanna do tree work and if you’re lucky some old guy might let you go up a tree immediately 😂
Hahah love that about America! Yes over here in the UK we have tickets to show your are competent and safe at doing a task. So you still need to pass a test to get the ticket and what most people have is NPTC tickets which don’t expire but advise that you do some refresher training every 3 years. Hopefully that helps clear that up 👍🏻
Did you put him through his tickets?
No he’s at college so they have put him through them as part of the course
Nice. How olds Charlie?
He’s 17 so doing well for his age I recon 👍🏻
@@mickarblife agreed.
@@mickarblife He could do with losing a stone in weight, he won't last otherwise.
@@TheToolnut bull shit 105 kg climber here 10 years in lasting pretty well 🤷🏼♂️
Well there’s your retirement plan sorted then
