The best car of 1990. A work of art.

I'm impressed! You were able to talk for almost 20 seconds before you used the word "iconic" for the first time.

That body kit at least is from the first two races(Phoenix and Interlagos), as it doesn’t feature the rounded side air intake covers, which were introduced at the third race at Imola.

That's true, but at Imola Prost used the old Aero Kit and teammate Mansell used the updated Aero kit with the rounded air intakes. This indeed must be from first two races as the mirrors have been attached like the 1989 car.
      Anyhow i love this Ferrari.

I had a very rare opportunity to have a look at this machine in New York. It was Museum Of Modern Art. There were a countless number of art works presented there and I could hardly remember what they were like after seeing Alain Prost's car. His driving was silky smooth and elegant.

Something strange with sidepods and sidepods intakes, they look more like 640 ones...

Very early season spec used only in round 1 I think

Prost didn’t win Silverstone race in July with that intake bodywork though?

Err...no, the radiator / air intakes are WRONG for the 1990 car, those are from the previous '89 car or start of '90 season.

Esse carro ultramoderno com um dos motores mais potentes da época, aliado a dois pilotos arrojados um deles já tri campeão mundial e atual era pra ser campeão com certa dolga, se não fosse um gênio chamado Ayrton Senna do outro lado 😂!

This is what should be on the tracks racing today, not the modern SUV looking cars

Did anyone notice that from the top down. The 2023 Ferrari looks similar to this one. The waste shape from above.

Great car, just lacked power vs McLaren-Honda.

Excellent video. My only small critique would be that the commentator slightly detracted from the musical soundtrack.

i thought the 641 was the 91 car. 640 carried the no 1 iirc

      642 was used in 1991.

The 642 was used for the first 6 races of 1991, before they introduced the 643 at Magny-Cours.
