- My first time in Busan... It is the 2nd biggest city in South Korea and is known for the beaches and diverse cultural heritage.
Among others, I went to Gamcheon Cultural Village, which is an area formed by the refugees of the Korean War, and it was such a beautiful area with vibrant colors, sculptures and paintings everywhere.
On the famous Haeundae Beach, I went up the Busan X the SKY and had an amazing view of the city from the 100th floor!
At Songdo Bay, you can take a stunning ride in a cable car and enjoy another great view of the city.
And you cannot miss the food here - much is based on seafood which is apparent in the many markets, you find everywhere in the city.

My name is Alex, and in December of 2023, I quit my job, sold my apartment and all my belongings to pursuit a lifelong dream of traveling full time.
The idea of traveling solo, as a middle-aged man, is both exciting and daunting, so I decided to bring my camera, and document my experiences. Not only to share my journey but also in the hopes of showing how amazing and wonderful traveling and the world truly is. 🌍
My goal is to visit the traditional sights as well as the lesser-known places - on a budget - and do some volunteer work with animals whenever possible.
