The concern for her age at the time was understandable, but you also have to considering she willingly went through the audition process and was selected due to her talent and potential. If JYP had chosen not to select her solely due to her age, it could be seen as ageist. So there's drawbacks on either side of the coin. Regardless, I'm really proud of Kaylee and all of the members and i'm so happy to see how far they've come in such a short time already.
Most 13 yo kids in America are lazy and don't want to do anything except sit home and play games all day. Their parents encourage this and then complain that their kids are 20 and still living at home. If my 13 yo tells me they want to be an idol and are willing to dedicate 12 hrs a day training to fulfill that dream, I'd be so proud I'd cry.
I dont agree with you. The reasons most 13 yo stay home because their parents didnt put them in activities and not willing to pay for extra curricular activities. If the American parent are willing to pay extra curricular classes after school like Machester soccer which cost USD$500 per month, then the child have activities to participate in.
Wonyoung got immense hate, in fact she STILL receives hate after turning 18. As a Wonyoung fan, I KNOW that a 13 y/o would crack under the pressure of even a fraction of the hate Wonyoung gets now. It’s not a healthy industry to be in when you’re not even 14.

She’s still fresh out of elementary school, and shouldn’t be ENCOURAGED to debut in a Koop girl group at such an age, especially when the rest of the members are 3+ years older than her. She’s insanely young, and I’m still a little frustrated this wasn’t addressed earlier, and How her parents had no objections.
Exactly!! I understand the concern for Kaylee but if that’s what she wants and enjoys let her be, plus all the girls seem to be having a lot of fun together and practicing with one and another, just as long she gets to live her teenage hood and experience life I’m 95% ok with it
When a 13 year old decides to date 40 year old weird guy would you still say "it's her choice!....." ? The thing is that children at this age are naive and irresponsible! Like they're just hitting puberty and yet you let them make decisions that will hurt them sooner or later? Others always should be there to prevent these girls from making mistakes that they will regret later on! And a 12 year old with her unstable state of mind should NEVER be a celebrity yet! It will hurt her badly and will probably traumatize her sooner or later due to hate and very weird people sexualizing or even pedophiles assaulting her.
she's too talented at this age, and she has made her dream come true with her own efforts! you guys think that her parents didn't know all this? Whose problem is that?
We know that other people also debuted young, but that was years ago, now this is happening again, but its even worse because of the industry THIS TIME and how they are so toxic..
honestly the members of vcha chose this opportunity and jyp saw that they were talented individuals so they chose them, and it would be stupid for the, to choose older but less talented members so the mebers did choose this path so no need for unnecessary hate.
i was so happy when i saw Kaylee tho bc in that one part when she was so sad and cried in front of everyone and besides her age im glad she made it and if i stan her group shell most likely be my bias
Bro, kaylee is literly a kid, as much as a like these groups songs, I just hope they don’t do ‘sexy concepts’ ANYTIME SOON! Also, I hope none of the memebrs wear super revealing outfits without consent!
Many other groups had like younger girls and boys she's 14 now even if she's a child she loves dancing and singing if she loves to do it she well work hard for it and she did she probably had thought about the creeps and she's very strong so I don't even know why people would be that worried like she already has debut so she can't just leave bc of some people
“Mature” the same thing creepy adult men say to teenagers? A teenager should be able to have moments where they don’t have to be mature and have the pressure of millions of people on their shoulders.
She is not mature at all. She is very childish and naive! You could see it through the whole show. Gina for example was around the same age but was mentally much further than Kaylee! Kaylee even cried after minor criticism on her voice... she is still a child and just started hitting puberty let's not forget that..
Alot of people didnt know that KG what already a artist in the singer industry so idk why she debut with vcha if she had alot of fame already bc cause of her ex asher

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, I don’t think anyone understand the age of 16 should start training to be an idol or debut.
She’s not 12 she’s 13
14 now, I think...
Okay
She's turning 15 this year
Oh okay
She worked so hard to get where she is she shouldn't get thrown out because she's too young
she is 13 and turning 14 November 24
Most 13 yo kids in America are lazy and don't want to do anything except sit home and play games all day. Their parents encourage this and then complain that their kids are 20 and still living at home.
If my 13 yo tells me they want to be an idol and are willing to dedicate 12 hrs a day training to fulfill that dream, I'd be so proud I'd cry.
totally agree!!
I hope you arent talking about your own kids😭
Shes 13
I dont agree with you. The reasons most 13 yo stay home because their parents didnt put them in activities and not willing to pay for extra curricular activities. If the American parent are willing to pay extra curricular classes after school like Machester soccer which cost USD$500 per month, then the child have activities to participate in.
They train just to get exploited sexualized online, and bullied by the internet. Wtf...
she will be 14 in november and wonyoung debuted at the same age
Wonyoung got immense hate, in fact she STILL receives hate after turning 18. As a Wonyoung fan, I KNOW that a 13 y/o would crack under the pressure of even a fraction of the hate Wonyoung gets now. It’s not a healthy industry to be in when you’re not even 14.
@@wonyoungoveryou and wonyoung debuted at 14 and Kaylee still didn't debut like their song is a pre debut single and she would prob debut at 15 or we don't know
Yes and it damaged wonyoung badly too so what's the point?
She was 12 in 2022
Her birthday is in November. She is turning 15 this year. Don't keep getting her age wrong
I’m sure that not many care
There have been many many talented debuts of a similar age
Some are big stars
“She’s almost 14 tho!”- okay and? 14 is still outrageous.
Either her parents don't know how that industry works or her parents are irresponsible at this point...
it’s her decision to follow this career, just leave her make her dream come true
Exactly!! I understand the concern for Kaylee but if that’s what she wants and enjoys let her be, plus all the girls seem to be having a lot of fun together and practicing with one and another, just as long she gets to live her teenage hood and experience life I’m 95% ok with it
@@Lexue123 agree!
She’s 13 now the show was filmed last year she was born November 24th 2009
No she turned 15 in the lastyear now she will be 16 in 2024❤
She is turning 14 this november. She wouldnt be the first 14 y/o to debut. Itzys Yuna was 14, BoA was 12, HyunA was 14, Taemin was 14
Yuna was 15 and Boa was 13 and 9 months thanks you
@@SweetforS Thanks for correcting me, but the point still stands.
she's too talented at this age, and she has made her dream come true with her own efforts! you guys think that her parents didn't know all this? Whose problem is that?
We know that other people also debuted young, but that was years ago, now this is happening again, but its even worse because of the industry THIS TIME and how they are so toxic..
honestly the members of vcha chose this opportunity and jyp saw that they were talented individuals so they chose them, and it would be stupid for the, to choose older but less talented members so the mebers did choose this path so no need for unnecessary hate.
Real like she’s one month younger than me plus she is capable of a lot of things just because ppl r young doesn’t mean that they r not prepared
Kaylee was selected because of her outstanding cuteness, performance and mostly her vocal ,JYP told her that she was BORN to be a K-pop star ❤
and so have many other idols debuted at such a young age. people just find ANYTHING to complain ab.
Well you know f*ck the haters
i was so happy when i saw Kaylee tho bc in that one part when she was so sad and cried in front of everyone and besides her age im glad she made it and if i stan her group shell most likely be my bias
They are bashing Kaylee of debuting young not knowing that unis maknae is younger than Kaylee and she is the youngest kpop idol
Let Kaylee go for her dreams ❤
Girl you can do it❤
kaylee was 13 by ep 16 of a2k
BoA debuted when she was 13 under SM entertainment. Tzuyu debuted when she was 13 with Twice. Nothing new
Tzuyu debuted when she was 15(almost 16)
First of all it was her choice to join the addition and in her journey you can see how hard she was working just so she can get debuted
Also she said its not her first audition
She was 12 when they were getting ready for the real day of when they become kpop superstars and now she's 14
Kaylee is 15 this year I did my research and she was born in 2009
"vee-chaah"
Bro, kaylee is literly a kid, as much as a like these groups songs, I just hope they don’t do ‘sexy concepts’ ANYTIME SOON!
Also, I hope none of the memebrs wear super revealing outfits without consent!
Like its her choice she wants to be a k-pop idol at this age rn shes 13 turning 14 in nov like its her choice stop hating on her choice!!
Kaylee is my bias since a2k until now and we are the same age
Many other groups had like younger girls and boys she's 14 now even if she's a child she loves dancing and singing if she loves to do it she well work hard for it and she did she probably had thought about the creeps and she's very strong so I don't even know why people would be that worried like she already has debut so she can't just leave bc of some people
Why is everyone commenting other young idols who debuted at 13/14 like that makes this any better 💀 stop normalising this it's depressing
shes not 12 shes 14, turning 15 this year
Dude this is what she wanted she chose to do this...
She is there because she is focused, mature and her parents support her. Get over it and wish the group well!
It’s not JYPs fault tho- it’s her parents that let her sign up, so why is that JYPs fault?💀…
If she were debut she would be my bias
Imo the idols who debuted in a young age chose to debut it’s their choice
Kaylee is now14
Yes kaylee is 14 this coking november this show was long time ago...
kaylee lee 아기 같으면서 근육은 좋고 이쁨~❤
She is actually 13-14 or near fourteen as the show was filmed I while ago
She’s 13
Tbh they worked hard so if they debut they know they could handle it although they are young they work hard so just support them or ignore them
Alot of people didnt know that KG what already a artist in the singer industry so idk why she debut with vcha if she had alot of fame already bc cause of her ex asher
She is younger than me and has already debuted what am i doing w my life 😢
Its sad that they're all under age and none of them can leave jyp until they're *30 years old*
I wonder how they were training since 2 years cuz it was made like at 2022
I love Kaylee! I think she’s extremely talented and one of the most vocally strong members of their group tbh. It’s funny because people will criticize this when Unis current day has a 12 year old member and nobody gives a shit, meanwhile Kaylee was 12 when the show was filmed but she’s older now
Its not about age though its about your TALENT and you are proud to ur self Who u really are,Kaylee as a great talent even though she is 12
Guys, she's like 13/14 she was 12 only when the show started . It's really annoying when ur don't really think abt how the show was filmed a year ago 🙂
Tbh she is one of the best and my fav
Kaylee is 2009 so (even though she’s still young)she’s 14 and will turn 15 in 2024
12 DID THAT SYA TEWELVE
How about New jeans when they debut?
Kaylee was 14 when She debuted
Tbh they shouldn’t worry bc she’s 14 now 🫶
Most popular singers started out at the same age, in america as well like Chris Brown, Michael Jackson, if this is her dream, i say she takes this opportunity
If the girl wants to follow her dream let her follow her dream
So hold up JYP is getting criticized bc half of vcha are minors…. What about the other 90% of grips that are mostly if not fully minors
