Heres my advice, "You cant one day say i want to be a kpop idol, you need to actually work hard before being an idol/trainee" start off locally! Heading to korea is a whole different world. You need to realize being a kpop idol is like being a artist, artists who write their own songs, wanna call yourself an artist? Requires more work than just saying what you want to be.

It has been my dream for about 6 years to become a kpop idol, since I entered the world of kpop I knew perfectly well that there are a number of situations and difficulties that exist to become an idol and I understand them perfectly. Currently I am 16 years old and I am aware of what this implies. It also depends on the company you decide to audition for, because not all agencies mistreat you, make you feel bad and make you work so hard to become an idol. Also in education, I understand that some agencies take care of the basic expenses (education, health, etc) in the pre-debut period and after the debut if you haven't finished high school or college, this will become a debt and you will have to pay it after the debut with your income to receive your first payment. So I want you to know that not everything is always like this, I hope I can fulfill my dream of becoming an idol soon!

@@Kiyaaa_xoxo.9 People are saying hybe don't give vocal training. And ppl have been giving hate to le sserafim for having no stable vocals even when they r not dancing. they say same members like wonhee or so does not have good vocal. but i don't know bc i'm not and has not been a trainee in HYBE. But u can do more research abt hybe but JYP is a GOOOD company. vocals are important in jyp and dancing obviously. they are not rlly harsh with trainee's and they provide a lot for u when ur a trainee. like food, education etc. if ur still in school by the time u have debuted ur members or so can drop u off. u can still do school there and literally all the food they provide for u is organic so it's kinda hard to gain weight there. they do not stress out their idols as much as other companies. but don't js lay back bc it's a good company! u gotta work hard but JYP don't look for professional's ONLY! they look for people with talent and potential to become an idol. obv u'll get in better if ur alr so good. js prepare very well before the audition. for singing before going to the audition drink warm honey water and practice everyday. if ur a low singer, try doing an exercise that will be able to increase ur pitch as the day passes. soon enough ur vocal cords will get used to having a higher range. pitch is important and stab ability. but don't strain ur vocal cords, u can damage them. hit high notes ur comfortable with and gradually increase it everyday. i drink lemon water with honey every morning tho. for dancing stay infront of ur mirror and practice, fix any messy moves that don't look smooth and professional work on facial expressions and stage presence. put energy in the dance at the right time. let's say for example when the beat goes hard or the dance break. for rapping. take a song u like and slowly increase the speed, u may not be able to rap as fast as an idol at first but with practice u can :). for llike clothes to wearto the audition js wear smth simple. don't wear black bc black doesn't really show how ur moving. DO NOT. wear oversized clothes. they need to see how ur body acc moves. u can wear tights or joggers and a crop top or js a simple shirt. but when it's time for u to perform like u know. the big performance! so they can see if u should debut or not. acc dress like an idol. they need to see ur fashion sense too. and dress like "hey, this is my stage, i'm gonna perform like this song is my own" be confident and smile a lot. show ur charm, let's say u have a very pretty innocent smile. use it to ur advantage on stage! hit them with cuteness overload or some shi man! yh i guess that's abt it.u can use these tips for any audition ig. kinda did too much haha

Yes, people with darker skin can audition but getting into The company is a whole different story I know I may sound kind of racist here but I’m just gonna just tell you all the facts the K-pop industry has never been the most accepting place to people with darker skin, and the chances of you, becoming a successful K-pop idol with darker skin, are pretty much nonexistent, because K-pop idols with darker skin just simply aren’t appealing to the general public, and Korea is obsessed with beauty and youth so if you don’t fit with the beauty standards, you’re not gonna be very appealing and Korea is absolutely obsessed with light skin, but if you don’t have a light skin, your chances of becoming a K-pop idol, pretty much nonexistent I know that made sound harsh, but that’s just the reality of the situation the only types of K-pop groups you might have a chance with our groups like VCHA but it is not a K-pop group it’s a international group made by a K-pop company I know there are some exceptions like K-pop groups like black swan, but groups like that are very, very rare and you’re definitely gonna face a lot of criticism I mean, if you truly want to become a K-pop idol, despite that then ain’t nobody stopping you, but I’m just telling the fact of the matter

    • @missinglooona
      @missinglooona 6 месяцев назад

@@PinkiePies_Pie “the chances of you, becoming a K-pop idol with darker skin, ARE PRETTY NONEXISTENT” what do you mean “nonexistent”? I know you stated many times that you’re not trying to be mean but that’s straight up rude. The K-pop industry has a LONG way to go and for you to say that it’s pretty NONEXISTENT of a darker idol to become an idol is rude. and the word “NONEXISTENT” is a terrible word you’re using to say it 😭 you could’ve said “kinda a low chance” to sound more nicer. Another thing is that I NEVER asked for any information about this, plus I already know about this information as it’s so obvious that my comment is talking about it 😭 i understand you’re trying to say a “fact” but the way you said it is worded wrong. Do better. Also to add is that many things you’ve said here is so unnecessary 😭 once again I understand that you’re trying to say a fact but it seems like you’re trying to upset me with this information. And if you were just trying to say that it’s HARDER to become an idol because of my skin you could’ve said that instead of this. Quite rude and disrespectful of you.

I've wanted to become an Idol since I was 13 years old and despite the fact that I was a black African and at the time I hadn't seen any other idols that looked like me I was pretty determined and thought that if I just practiced enough maybe the universe would see my efforts and make a way, however my family was not only completely against it but they didn't even have money to send me to auditions since we live in South Africa (I'm from Zimbabwe) and the travel costs to go to Korea for an uncertain opportunity would be too much, and I experienced some depression because of this, I started to hate my skin color and facial features, and by extension I began to resent God who had made me like this, sometimes while showering I'd scrub at my skin until it hurt because I hoped that if I scrubbed hard enough my skin would become lighter, it's been about 5 years since then and seeing how Fatou of Rania was able to debut makes me wonder if maybe it just wasn't meant to be for me, don't get me wrong the girl is absolutely gorgeous and I'm supporting her whole heartedly since I feel that her presence can inspire other young girls who still have the time to not give up and just do their best, if anyone reads this I just wanna say that maybe now it seems unlikely but in a few years the impossible may become just a little more attainable so don't give up, I'll be supporting you all and awaiting your debut ❤❤❤

not the kids in the comments getting mad bcs of this video lol,, ig it's true that young teenagers are very passionate and emotional to the point they forget that things are not that easy and it's important to consider several factors because your health and wellbeing matters more than anything.
right now if i was 14 let's suppose i would be mad at this video too and i'd probably comment something like “stop discouraging people omg if they're passionate enough let them go for it it's difficult but they're passionate and that's what matters the most” but as you grow up you realise that things are not that easy. i have been a kpop stan for 7 years now and i'm 19 years old atm and i know damn well how hard it is to survive in an industry that is so fast-paced and stressful. the truth is not everyone can go for it even if they're passionate i know several idols who left their careers because of health issues. were they not passionate enough? no but they realised that the industry is really affecting their health and it's time for them to take control of their health and take care of themselves. this video is not to discourage anyone rather to warn people about the industry because it is indeed a harsh industry and so you must make sure 100% that you are prepared to go through all the things listed above. lots of kids be like “no im really passionate omg idc about anything else i just want to show my art to the world” and then they end up crying because “i kinda regret all of this is so difficult to put up with” so just be careful ok? don't let emotions take over you and think carefully through all of it that's what this video is saying. don't be impulsive.

When I red the comments it feeling like all the comments were written by people who are younger than 16 they are so unserious about this topic I don't think they have any idea about this world, and I'm young than 16 too

    • @Kooloveblavk
      @Kooloveblavk 2 месяца назад +1

There are also an another dark topic.
      Se*ual harrasment.
K-pop idols; mostly trainees or trainees from foreign countries experience this cause they cannot speek against anyone there. Some trainees also stated that they get se*ually abused by staffs 😢. I red this on Quora a Ex-JYP trainee wrote that once when she was a trainee at JYP entertainment a staff member, age 30-40 told her, "If you obey whatever I say then I will ask J.Y.Park to put you in a group" and she also wrote that he also kept sending her nxdes she got very scared and quit the process. She deleted this post after some days cause she was afraid that the entertainment will take any actions against her. And i also heard about another trainee who didn't revealed with entertainment she trained in but she said she was a trainee for 3 years and in that period of time she became very unhealthy and once she was admitted in hospital for 1-2 weeks and because she is unhealthy she wasn't able to perform in the weekly auditions and she was admitted in the hospital and that happened when she became an A grade trainee which mean she is closer to debut so she got scolded by the staffs that she wasted their time she wrote alot but I can't write all of them here. I'm just saying this. Don't take it wrong. Just remember everyone can smile and speak sweet words but you don't know what's happening behind the doors. If you guys think JYPe is a good entertainment then what is your answer for "Twice" and their 9 comebacks a year? Or do you ever wonder why Jyp idols are always very pretty? Or How do they have better vocals than most of the idols? You guys may think JYPe don't have any dark side and some of you guys maybe think that cause of their survival shows (eg: A2K).
You guys have no idea how many trainees had suffered in more darker situations especially foreigners. And also imagine that your parents also don't support you 100% they may have send you to Korea for training but they don't have any intension to see their child become a k-pop idol. And i also believe that every company has that one important dark chapter,
      For example :
Yg - not promoting their idols, visuals
Jyp - Over working, visual = plastic surgery
      Hybe - Over working, visuals
      Sm - strict diets, visuals
And many more and basically all they need is your beauty they can coat your talent even if you don't have what they need.
I can write even more and sorry if it's too long

I have been practicing on my own and trying tons of online things, just so I can audition, even if I don’t make it at least I’ll know i tried my very best, but I’m confident and really hope my practice will pay off and I’ll achieve my dream. Yes but there are way too many downsides with k pop, it would be a huge mistake in life if you plan to make money out of it, cuz let's be honest, you don't control your success, it literally depends 100% on the management the company gives to your group... So it doesn't matter how hard you try cuz you are still subject to what the company has prepared for you... You can do it if you love it, of course, but earning money might not come with it, the only actual millionaires are black pink and BTS...

No matter what consequences would be there to face if you believe in yourself you definitely would have become what you wanna be, and if you wanna achieve something, so for that you also have to sacrifice something, and I'm taking the guarantee that your all the sacrifices would worth it all, you just have to keep fighting , cry as much as you can during the period of achieving something, crying is not a problem, that's not mean you are not strong, you just have to look forward not backward, forgetting your past life and look for your future is the best thing I think, just don't give up, Namjoon said that you also can be happy during the period of achieving something, not only when you've achieved it, so keep fighting...........

Ive been dreaming about becoming a kpop idol for ages and this did not change it. Rn im 11 and im practicing learning korean and dancing and singing, then when im 13 i will audition with yg entertainment. At first i was gonna go for HYPE but i dis research and yg fits me better. For my singing ive been teaching myself and i sing "super shy" 5 times in a row everyday and im learning korean by duolingo. Im practicing my style and personality and ive pretty much got that. Ive talked to my mum and she is supportive. However the one thing im not sure about is the part about maybe flying to korea. If i get in to the audition and get called to be a trainee, im not sure how to get to korea. Im at Australia rn and my parents are split up so i have two houses. Im gonna telll my dad about this today and see how i will get to korea. Ive been learning a new dance every week so i can get used to dancing. Luckily i was blessed with a skill to learn a dance by just watching someone doing it on repeat. This week i learnt the "watch my 9mm go bang" dance. Im full serious about this and im researching and learning alot at 11 because i feel i should start learning now. Please wish me luck in my kpop journey

As intimidating as this is I still want to do it. I go through vocal training everyday, I exercise, practice dance. I may not be perfect in some areas but practice makes perfect. I wanna be a singer so bad and that's my dream. It may be hard being a black South African but I'll still do it.🤞🏾

    Hello everyone
You probably all know the details of being an idol
It’s not bad to dream, but many dreams cloud your mind, if you have shortcomings, your mind smooths them out, but in reality you remain just as insignificant.
In the comments, everyone wants to be an idol, but unfortunately, no matter how hard you try, you will be 70%-80% unable to become an idol, why: because the world is full of dreamers like you,but they will be hundreds of times better than you, and you will not have a single chance to be an idol!
And so what is required from the trainee (or from you)
You must be perfect in everything (even if at least someone supports you, he will definitely think that you are nuts)
Koreans hate it when a dark-skinned idol appears, even if the group is popular Korean fans will hate this man and he will eventually be kicked out of the group.
This also applies to European appearance, believe me, it will be difficult for you, even if you become an idol, your group will not become popular because of you, the group will simply be hated (at least you’ve seen a lot Idols of European appearance, the answer is no, there are very few of them, listen to their interviews - how they went the path of an idol.
If you do not meet the criteria listed below, please give up your dream
    1. Very thin physique
    2. Be tall, 155-175
    3. Vocals and rap, they must be perfect
    4. White skin
    5. Pretty little face
    6. Gentle voice
    7. The most important thing is Charisma!
    8. Dance must be at the highest level
    9. You must be able to sing and dance at the same time
    10. Knowledge of several languages (polyglots are highly valued there)
    11. Flexible body
    12. Stress resistance
    13. Long hair
14.Have money with you (because companies will not pay you anything until you sign a contract (that is, until you become a trainee)
    15. Competitiveness - where other interns will hate you (but they don’t show it, and they’ll shit behind your back)
    16. A Charm + Sexy + cute
    17. Cheerful
    18. + Please don't say anywhere that you want to become an idol, if you tell someone that, your dream won't come true.
19.Knowledge of the Korean language is mandatory, without it it will be very difficult for you
    20. If you were at the audition, 2-4 weeks passed, and the company did not answer you, then I'm sorry, this means that you were rejected and you are not suitable

There is still a lot that I might not know,Idol = perfect If you are poor and are in another country, 99% of you should refuse, those who are poor in Korea have a chance, but others......
Watch videos of Korean trainees(they know many things about idols than foreigners)
This is all for motivation guys, I don’t have any hate!If you have talent in something else, then continue with it, you have no need to become an idol, you have talent (your path to the future is open to you) but are you thinking of becoming an idol? Your dream doesn't match to Reality . You don't want to waste your talent in exchange for a dream that will never come true and you will remain nothing. Some people, please wake up, WAKE UP!
