- Part 4 of 4. This tutorial gives guidance for installation of Cummins Home and Small Business air-cooled generator set models. Upon successful installation of the generator set, the control can be configured to the customer’s specifications. This tutorial supplements the installation manual for the product relating to configuration of the generator set control, including clock setup, exerciser settings, and enabling Standby Mode. Models: C13N6H, C17N6H, C20N6H, C20N6HC, RA Transfer Switch.

Cummins c13n6h a054e399 started gen set under load now my power is dirty and burning lite bulbs and showing reverse polarity on my furnace other wise it is working did I blow up the power filter board by not letting it come up to speed and then doing the transfer on the breaker to initiate power to the house thank you
Phew..I am not sure if I am going tooke ours..first time power went off nothing..then second time power went off nothing.. finally thought we got it setup.. I went out to be there during the exercise..the notice flipped saying it did but nothing happened.. now I am afraid that the unit won't be there if the power goes out a third time. We lost a whole freezer full of meat because the power went off .which is why we got the unit to begin with..

Why should the crank exercise be set to be disabled ?2:30 in video
Manual says it alternates from crank only to full start on next cycle.
I have a situation where the set control panel display blinks as if frozen and I can't control the back. Button or change ant setting . I shut off the unit's breaker and transfer switch off\on and it shows no change to allow me to set controls. Suggestings???
I have the 13w RS13 unit,..sorry..
Note very important you DO need the jumper from tb4-3 to tb4-4 !!!! Instructions are very very poor.....
2:22 Major failure in this video. Cummins goes out of their way to say Crank Exercise should be Disabled, then glosses over exactly how one would change the setting from Enabled to Disabled. Going in cirlcle at this moment trying to figure it out.
After disabled is highlighted, click the arrow key up or down.
