i think people will definitely gloss over the fact that these 5 became sinners before the Cataclysm happened. meaning, they did not cause the Cataclysm. Dain said he's mad at them for not helping out despite having godly powers.
I mean...they probably didnt caused it but they took the part of Cataclysm. They worsen it, looking at Gold who influenced the most disaster in Teyvat with her monster

The Abyss Order is starting to sound like another distraction. Despite trying to build them up to be a credible force, we learn that it was the influence of one of the great Sinners who inspired them to create them.
Yet the sinner isn't the one who is leading them, but rather the traveler's sibling.
I think that the Abyss Order is more meant to serve as a distraction against Celestial. And that their role is to be a sacrificial lamb to fight against Celestial and the world, while the rest of the Sinners enact their true plans from behind the scenes.
I mean sibling is a "Prince" or "Princess", not the king, they talk about in previous Cariber quest

After 5 years a voice line from 1.0 makes sense and shows Kaeya (unsurprisingly) lied in the previous Dain quest when he said he doesn’t really remember Khaenri’ah. He knows who the 5 sinners are and shows the same animosity to them that Dainsleif does.

Three of them we know of, one being the true master of the Abyss, one is the creator of Albedo and Durin, and another is Skirk's master. I suspect at their original power the travelers will probably be equal to the 5 sinners of khanrehia cuz the abyss twin was already having trouble with dain who is probably similar in power to the other 5. So by that standard once we regain our power we should have world shattering abilities as well

5 sinners became sinners because they couldn't resist the call of Abyss and the one who made the call was 2nd desender.
I don't think so. We only have vague confirmation on who 4 desenders are apart from traveller ofcourse. The first one is like heavenly principle or primordial god from enkomiya book. Second one is tricky. Some say it was another group of gods (It might be unknown god) others have argued that it was dragon king Nibelung(The sovereign king of dragon sovereigns') . While at same time opposite argument is made for 3rd desender. Now there these 3 individual who are suspected to be desenders, Dragon king, Unknown god, primordial god and paimon(I think she is connected to heavenly principle in some ways).

Animation are usually given to represent detailed information/lore. Dainsleif only gave us info that they are the sinners. Fair enough for me
