This is great! I’m 5’7” and sleep comfortably with one side inflated. My guess is that anyone 5’8” or taller would have to curl up a bit. This is the only time being a short guy has ever paid off!😊
This product is perfect for people less than 6 feet tall. I am 6 even and had to remove the back seat bottoms to provide adequate length, leaving a gap. Luno should address this shortcoming (no pun intended).
This is awesome! I like how it fills up the sides towards the doors. How big would you say it is when stored in the bag, comparable to a large tent? Thanks for the review Jon
I am curious about this product, but in my exerience most airmatresses loose alot of air overnight or in cold weather. It would be good to know what their return policy is if you aren't impressed with its performance. Also how tall is the matress?
I know this is an old comment, but I have this for my subaru and have camped in cold weather with it, and it does not lose air at all, but it does suck big time in cold weather since there's no insulation.
I saw this on an ad somewhere and was wondering if it worked on 4Runners without the sliding tray. Glad you cleared that up for me. I’m assuming you have to curl up a little bit when the rear door is closed too?
I noticed your feet were hanging out, you can't close the back hatch and lay down stretched out? I want to get this but I'm gonna need to be able to close the back for winter time trips. Im thinking maybe sleep diagonal on it so it can be closed? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Me like that , but 2004 are different when folding upward , me thinking of taking the rear seat and seatbelts out for good , took my third rows seat and seatbelts out already , don’t need them , because I don’t like carry other peoples in the back seats area! @@tksirius it’s not uncommon for 4Runner owners to sleep on one side due to refrigerators and gear. It’s no bigger than laying in a sleeping bag either.
I get that. Definitely better than a $4K roof top tent for sure still. This is crazy durable though and super thick. More details in the article as well
I'm 6'3, any chance you think I could fit it comfortably? Can't really tell but it looks a little on the short side for me. Great vid man, awesome rig you got there.
Great review. I'm sold! This will go well with the Rago Molle Panel sides and shelf that I have (i.e., I have storage areas even though this mattress fills all the nooks and crannies in the rear cargo area).
Cool concept but really too much for $279 for an air mattress. Also seems short. I have an exped megamat and it’s so much better than my previous air mattress!
I spent $20 on Amazon for a standard size twin mattress. It fits perfect in the width. Just doesn’t curve around the wheel well by the rear doors.I like how this one allows you to only inflate one side… but not for an extra $259
From thr FAQ on their website. Guess you gotta level it if you don't have a sliding tray How can I level out the cargo space in my 4Runner that doesn’t have the sliding tray? Some people opt to build their own platform out of wood. Others prefer to use a thicker blanket or foam pad to level out the rear cargo surface
I was looking for a camping spot today in VA and hoping not to have to put up a tent. I was told that car camping is not allowed, that even vans have to have some kind of certification. Is this just a VA thing? Anyone know? I have a 4 Runner.
Well as I can see, you can't sleep on either side because it's not long enough !!! Better to remove one side of the rear seat and move forward the front passenger seat, so you can have a removable platform that can support your body long enough and be comfortable.
If you remove the back seats, you have a ton of more room, especially if you move the passenger seat forward. I made a custom bed and I have a ton of room doing this.
Hi, is this meant to be use with the seat folded up? I'm just thinking an extra space will be gain without the folded seats. Can you tell me your thoughts? Thanks!

I bought one and I love it my only concern is that the parts where you fill the mattress those look like they may break over time.
Where is the DD214 blanket?
Just used mine this last weekend and it was great👍🏼
Great to hear!
how long is this matress actually? I could not find it online

TBH the same size

I go with the AirBedz Lite (PPI PV203C). It's all one piece, fills from the end where 4runner's power outlet is.
Then you couldn't fold it and have the option for only half unfortunately

Awesome vid. How tall are you you? Are you able to lay down well with the hatch closed? Also, could you and your wife fit on both comfortably?
Thanks!
Yes and yes. I'm 5'11'' and I'd have to curl up a little but it's pretty comfy
Cool I’ll have to grab one for my 4Runner
How tall are you? I'm 5"8 will I be able to lay down straight without bending my legs?
5’11’m
How tall are you, and can you fit in there comfortably without your head or feet touching the rear gate of the seats?
5'11'' you cannot lay straight
4Runner model please? Looks like a 7 seater, correct?
Its not 7 seater. Cant get 3rd row and cargo slider together.
How tall do you need to be to sleep comfortably in the 4runner? What is the limit?
Depends on how you sleep honestly.. But im 5'11'' and would have to lay diagonal
AirBedz fits better and offers more sleeping room.
Will these fit on 3rd Gen 4Runners?
3rd gen is not as wide as 5th
