Do you have the height difference from the folded down back seats to the rear cargo area? We have a 2016 Trail trim and I thought about sleeping in the 4runner recently, but that 3-4" difference wasn't ideal. Additionally, what is the length from the "metal bracket" you mentioned to the tailgate closed? At 5'11" I didn't think it was going to be comfortable trying to sleep in the short space.
Hello! Great question. I usually try and balance the 4Runner out on slightly uneven terrain and use the height for head. Though I dont recall it being 4" difference. This is a 2024 TRD Offroad. Not sure if that makes a difference? I am 6ft (probably should have mentioned that in the video, now that I think about it) And I was surprised that I fit in there. I did slide my front seats forward a bit and it seemed to open up more space. I hope some of this helps!
Hello! I love the RODE Pro for my uses (I am using it in this video) But the DJI 2 is really good as well. Most people could probably get away with the Hollyland set ups as well, if budget is a concern. Hope that helps!
