@@youngcolkie9363 I don’t know exactly. The feeling of the college experience mostly. Game features and mechanics that are implemented well and not outdated. My issue with Madden over the years is it stopped being a football game and became a card game with MUT. They stopped really making the football part any good. The college games always felt better and more true to the sport in my opinion. So I mainly just hope it’s not Madden with college skins lol.

EA messes up pretty much every franchise these days and is still going. Even their previous CEO ran the company into the ground and they still exist
I have zero faith that EA will put a game out that isn't full of microtransactions and built in 'ads'.

If you want to buy these games at this point or are saying “um yea you know we haven’t seen anything yet so I’m optimistic” then that’s on you being moronic. Do you know what a monopoly is? Not the game but the term. It’s when a company has a market completely cornered and has a product that nobody else is allowed to make hence taking away any competition that could rival them. Same as 2k and ooop look at that those games are complete garbage too. Just cause you have zero awareness to what’s happening doesn’t mean others will too.

People will spend money on a game before they see ANY gameplay at all then complain when the game is ass. Then they’ll preorder the next version and the cycle repeats. These games stay bad because they make money

The one thing I missed about the old school mid-2000s college football games was the homework I still have my binders from my studies you don't do good on your test you don't play.

If EA cared about the sport, its fans and people who play video games, they would release a Complete game for a single price, free of micro-transactions and pay to win elements - where any and all updates/ content updates would be part of that original price. Oh! They'd also make a game that is a labor of love from the design team, that is actually a solid representation of American college football. None of that is happening.
they better be able to make two way players in dynasty mode, in the old games you could organize the depth chart for your quarterback to play safety or whatever, but they would only develop their stats through their years on their main position. i wanna see two way players being able to be legit two ways.

There is a reason you haven't seen gameplay yet. That "gameplay" trailer literally looked like Madden, especially the character animations.

I played madden 03, learned the players, found out my cities team, san diego had the best runningback in the game, L.T. ⚡ and was addicted and die hard ever since.
Almost everything ea has released in the past 5 years has failed or was nothing close to what was promised
I’m one of the few because ncaa football was my favorite game as a kid growing up these young kids don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for this to come back I’m 28 now I think the last one was 2013-14 I remember loading up player created rosters just to have the names of the players lmao but now it’s here, it’s real am I gonna buy some expensive edition no, but base game yess I’m buying it 😂😂😂

There are too many favorite comments through the years to list! Corso and Nessler, never forget what they've done for College Football. Legends of the game. I've been playing since Bill Walsh on Sega. EA collection in the living room for all to see 😊
as a Gen X'er, I have always hated EA Sports crap. It's all about graphics and appearance, game play as always been terrible (ie 3 td lead and the ball phases out of normal space and goes though my receivers torso in to the waiting db's hands etc.....).
I feel like it should literally be an every other year type of thing. Separate dev teams. Release NCAA this year, work on madden for this year and part of next year, while the other team works on ncaa, release madden next year, ncaa the next, so on and so forth. Gives the devs actual time to work on the game and put in features that may not otherwise be optimal due to time constraints. All you’d have to do is roster updates throughout the year and a half/2 years the game is out. Much easier workload than expecting a new game every year.
Herbie said that he hasn't seen the game but is a mouthpiece for EA. Weird 🤔
Anytime a company says “we’re making it right for the fans” that means it’s gonna suck hard
I’m very skeptical but the thing that’s giving me hope is that I heard it’s not the madden team working on this and this biggest issue madden has is it an annual release which means they don’t have a lot of time to really do anything substantial to improve the game while this game has been in development for multiple years. The next game might be garbage if they go back to an annual release but I got hope for this one.

Every advertisement for it centers on ultimate team. I'm gonna go ahead and call bs on that "for everyone" claim.
They could just copy and paste NCAA 13/14 with just updated graphics and I'd still play the hell out of it.
This will be my first football game that I will have purchased as an adult. I'm 30. The last one I played I think was Madden 07'? MY older brother bought that one.
Over the years I've only heard bad things about them but I am going to give this one a chance. I hope it's at least a 7/10

one thing to keep in mind is that the license doesn't Have to be sold to one company only, creating a monopoly on that sector. The license can be spread around to multiple developers who could then Compete to make the best game, chosen by fans/gamers. You know, Competition, like How A Champion is Chosen In the Actual Sport - Via Merit? So while EA is a garbage company that makes garbage products - really the root of the problem is the sale of the license to a single publisher. AND THAT IS THE FAULT OF THE NFL FOR MADDEN AND NCAA FOR THIS TRASH/
That competition is why the monopoly exist they don’t want any. They want the official license and the only ones able to make the bottom of the barrel content they can. Least effort for most profit. 10000000000 percent this is on goodell… and ea of course. Goodell is out of touch and has no idea madden is dogshit I’ve heard him do interviews about it. Dude has no clue how much money he could be making for the brand of the nfl as well as players. If you need any proof of it he renewed the license with ea well into them being known dogshit.

we all love the game because of the controls they seem so much more fluid than any Madden game ever. I still to this day can put in NCAA '09 and the controls are better better manipulation of the ball better manipulation of the players everything about it better than Madden.
