You're not the only one. A lot of characters from SFV share gimmick with their Omega version: For example, Ryu's Parry, Chun's EX legs, and Bison's ability to deflect fireballs.
Akuma's VT shoryu came from Oni's Omega EX shoryu. Akuma's EX air fireball from Omega is now in SFV. Juri's Vreversal. Ryu's HP>HK combo, parry. Oni's Omega HK tatsu is now AKuma's HK tatsu. Geif's Vreversal. I'd know more but I didn't play omega much.
I just found out today that Guile's flash kick nullifies fireballs in Omega. I don't know if it was the same in regular SFIV, because after almost 6 years I had nver seen it happen before.

I think they realize that some of the original characters need new tools in order to stand a chance against these new school characters. I use both charge and motion characters, it would be very interesting if they gave some of the charge characters some motion moves. Something like CVS2 where you can choose a grooves to counter pick. Guile FADC flash kick with DP motion would be godlik.
Analytic for SF5? Nope, SF5 is running on an entirely different engine, wouldn't really be practical. The new moves in omega are actually beta moves that didn't make it to the main game.

You do the input for ultra but top forward twice. So you do the ultra input then dash. Angled charges charge both of the vertical and horizontal angles adjacent to it. Hard to explain but easier to see with inputs.
from what I always do, seem like charge will remain for like half to 0.75 second even after use sonic boom or flash kick, so you can use ultra or super if your hands is fast enough
Omega mode is the worst joke Capcom made since 6 years. In Japan, nobody play this version and it seems to be the same in Europe right now. People realized quickly how broken and "nooby-like" it is. #CapcomCanAlwaysDoWorst

It's just made to have fun in.. There's not even any ranked capabilities with it... This is exactly like when a new game mode is introduced to say, a FPS game, or DotA 2, and then you come and say "this is the worst joke". It's not like everyone who plays FPS games or DotA 2 all play the same game modes. The original intended game mode in any game ever made will ALWAYS be the most popular one. The same goes for the Street Fighter series. And that's why this mode doesn't have any ranked option, it's clearly unbalanced, but it's fun to play on the side if you want to do some crazy or silly combos and playstyles you could never do before on characters. Personally I find the Omega Mode version of Guy 20 times more fun than the real version. So many more options to approach and creativity in his combos. Not every game mode has to be super serious try-hard mode. You gotta learn to relax and just have a bit of fun. Even if it might not be your cup of tea, there can be others that appreciate it. And the update was completely FREE. If anything, this is one of the best thing Capcom has done in a long time, considering most of the time we're paying money for something that's even worse.

u hold the down back d-pad which helps do the charge better while dashing forward with the analog/joystick buts it's a little hard
