I moved the Electronic arts folder to my drive because it didn't come up and I added mods to it like usual but it won't show up in game

Go under your "Documents" tab thats where i found mine
cause u need to move ur whole documents folder !!

when i clicked view custom content, nothing showed up? i followed all the steps but my mods just aren't there
anyone else having the problem where they don't have a saves and tray folder on the hard drive?

@@junaxax5677 you probably need to create them and add them into your game
When I launch the game my PC makes the "Electronic Arts" folder in my documents instead of in the external drive :(
Did you make sure your game is downloaded to your external hardrive?

@@CataOrellana I honestly gave up. So I have the game and expansion packs on my external drive, but the electronic arts folder is still in the documents. I couldnt find a way to move it..
But at least im saving a little space by the game itself being on the external drive🤷♀️
@@vilja5155there is a video about doing a symbolic link or something on RUclips. This seems to be a problem for most ppl
I followed all the steps properly but I can't get the electronic arts folder to show up in my hardrive folder and my sims game seems to be missing a bunch of files including the mods one

I followed your exact steps but my electronic arts folder didn’t go on the drive it loaded on my computer by itself how do I get it on the drive?
Try just moving to over like a regular file to your external hard drive. Also make sure you check the location of your sims 4 game.
when I go to my external hard drive, electronic arts is not there, and when I start up the game it doesn’t give me the option to open a new game, the screen just goes white.
@@trin8365 After downloading everything to your external hard drive you need to open your game. Your electronics arts folder won’t be in your sims 4 after you first move everything. Make sure your mods and cc are up to date because after the new update my CAS is broken as well. LMK if this doesn’t work

will i lose my save files after redownloading the sims 4 base game to move it to my external hard drive?
