It'd be amazing if Project Freeman remixed some aspects of itself to make it a little more differentiated from its 2004 counterpart. Similar to what the new Resident Evil 2 remake is doing.
Man it's such a ball and patience busting thing that a BIG CRAPTON of BADASS GOOD-LOOKING mods that used to be in development, well... Have been in dev during YEARS and STILL AIN'T released, or some are dead... Smdh half life/valve community!
Can't believe a lot of mods are dead, or in development (AND HAVE BEEN LIKE THAT FOR YEARS) and still ain't released... Bruh, what's more, there ain't many mods based on HL1's beta, or in HL2's beta.
People should really stop with the beta mods. We already have Dark Interval and RTB:R. We don't need more. I feel like if anyone is going to make a beta mod that they should add a creative twist to it, like Half-Life 2 Overcharged. Overcharged not only mixed beta elements with their own, but all beta stuff was added to the original maps in a unique way, making it feel fresh and unique. I mean, Dark Interval is already doing what Quantum Reflux is doing. I just don't see the point.
