I wish there was a way to clean the inside where the water goes. I can see that it is gross in there as well. I feel like I would have to buy a new one every 4 months in order to have the inside clean. I clean much more often and as soon as I see the reservoir is getting slimy.
Mine has some of that brown sludge inside the tank on the bottom and on that piece that the steam comes out of. Any advice on how to clean those parts?
the unit is not very user-friendly. The first push of the button will only turn the light on. Crazy that they did that. The second time you push the button no light but the vapor will come out. The third time you click the button it will put out vapor and the light will be on. Hopefully that’s the problem.
I just bought one and was putting it together. I was going to upload pictures, but that didn't work. 1) Separate the tank from the base of the unit. 2) Flip over water tank and open the tank lid, turning it to the left. 3) Pour cool, clean water directly into the tank. 4) Close the tank lid, turning it to the right. It's important to FIRMLY secure cap after filling the tank with water.
No you’re not supposed to specially with ultrasonic humidifiers that’s where she made the error. Most have a filter, but ULTRASonic do not; Hence why one should only use distilled water. Fortunately distilled water is still about $1.25 a gallon🧐💪🏼🤓♥️🙏♥️
*DON’T* use tap water in humidifiers people! Much higher risk for unhealthy microorganisms. Also, the minerals are bad for the humidifier. Use distilled water 🙂.
Any way to access the tank? I am seeing mold build up from within inside it but cannot remove its base or top for a wipe down...
Y’all- clean it every three days, or at least once a week.
I agree with the following comments regarding using Distilled Water only.
just bought this,so far so good
ULTRASONIC humidifiers Specifically should be distilled water only for this purpose 🧐🤦🏻♀️
Thank for you the cleaning video
I use distilled water and it is perfect.
Add a little alcohol to keep bacteria from growing. But it's best to use distilled water.
I just got mine and haven't even been using it for a week and it's making a high pitched buzzing?

You did not show how to clean the inside of thw water container ao this video is useless.

Ours has dust or something where the water comes out as well. Any advice on how to clean it would be great
I haven’t used mine since I noticed that build up too. Makes me feel like I wasted my money on this.
Why would you wait a month to clean it? Wow
She could be using it for plants or some non-human use
To do a cleaning video 😂
I’ve done this but idk… i feel like even after I clean it the water still smells funny and i have the slightly bigger one than this
Google says to use Hydrogen Peroxide, if you trust them
Any advice why the red light come on
It should mean it's out of water snd needs more
I bought the same but no steam coming out

How do I get a new instruction booklet?

Your husband did this same video.
can you use regular tap water?

You can also boil your own water at home to make it distilled.
That's incorrect. You would just have boiled water that has actually more mineral content. Distilled is made with a steam process
turn background music off
I never buy this anymore
It's impossible clean inside
Distilled water only 📚🧐
Normal H2O or anything other than distilled has a mineral deposits and this is why it makes a mess 3 to 30 days later…smh
Tap water no good.
Lady it seems you just ran it and ran it and NNEVER cleaned it.
I can imagine what your house looks like. Geez.
Yup. Didn’t read the instructions. Specifically states to use distilled only. 🤦🏻♀️
The instructions don't say only distilled. They say "Use clean OR distilled water in the tank. Hard water will require more cleaning."
*DON’T* use tap water in humidifiers people! Much higher risk for unhealthy microorganisms. Also, the minerals are bad for the humidifier. Use distilled water 🙂.
Ugh that just sounds like a tedious added cost. Hm
