I have a Crane Drop. Love it. Ever since I had a nosebleed last week I'll always have a humidifier whether it's cool or warm mist. And I'll always have it running. Good video.

Wait do u NOT have to clean it if I only used distilled water cause that’s all I did. But I might have left water in there at times I don’t recall the last time I cleaned it

Thank you ! I just bought one and it stopped working. I think I might have to clean it before I ask for a replacement. I actually like your dish rag😂 it look like there’s manufactured holes there for better cleaning I want one.

Glad I could help hope it works. The dish rag was crocheted. It is probably 10 years old.

Does the white plate on the bottom come off to allow for better air dry? I just bought one yesterday but can’t get all the water out even when air drying

There’s screws under the base. Remove the rest pads, you peel it out gently with a tiny flat head.

Ummm Iclean mine when it empties in a few days with some soap and water and dry clothes. My humidifier has never looked like that...I use a brita water to pour into the tank so as to help take impurities out...throw that away and getchu another one

Hard water is a big issue where I live. I like your idea of filtered water. Thanks for the suggestion.

    • @vickiegray690

I use the water that comes from my refrigerator water filter from the front of my fridge. The only thing I worry about and mine is just about brand new is that pink scum that develops on all things that has water running through. I’ve actually run diluted Clorox bleach through my coffee maker time after time for years. I will be using bleach on my humidifier because I know it kills just about everything and I deplore the smell of vinegar.
And that machine they use in this illustration is beyond filthy. I hope it has not been plugged in recently at all.
