Gees, Kelsey, Im looking at these comments and thinking you got a bunch of soul sisters that would not be disappointed if you did more antique videos.😎
The flower frog fits your small vessel just right. When you put water in it wouldn’t work properly in the larger one as it’s not meant to sit at the bottom of a vessel. I think your flowers are beautiful and they looked fine. Jars are always good for flowers. lol. Loved your haul by the way. I love looking for antiques. 😊
Aww thanks Kelsey for this video. I love the picks you made. All so cute and homey. I especially love the frog and the cookie cutter, because they remind me of my mom. She had several frogs and i need to ask my siblings where they ended up because i k kw theyre not being used. My mom would want them to be. I also have all her old tin cookie cutters. Saved in an old flour sack bag. I bring them out for making coolies with my grand babies. Generations of cookies made with these. Im pretty sure they were my grandmothers. Its so special to appreciate the beauty of the past.
Oh Kelesey, i have the exact flour sifter . It was a Wedding shower gift 57 years ago. Im 77 years old. Also have the chicken cookie cutter. It was my mother's.
I think you would enjoy the spikey flower frogs more for your style of floral arrangements...the glass ones are perfect for rose bowls to create a beautiful domed rose arrangement❤🌹. I love copper accents in my kitchen as well, teapots, pitchers, and especially the MOLDS!!! 🏠
Hello friend… We have the same taste in decorating! I have hand-me-down antiques and have found many more things, I just couldn’t leave the store without! I love surrounding myself with comforting, eye-pleasing things… I try to keep the smalls in antique cupboards (6) And the tops of cupboards make great displays for larger things! I could talk to you all day! Thanks for another great videos… Hugs from Ohio
If you used the frog in a larger vessel so it sat at the bottom, you could try using it in the center to keep your stems in that area upright, and then continue to arrange how you normally would without using the frog, so you can place the stems at the angles you want. I would love to see it if you try it out.
So many beautiful things....I believe the white pot is a coffee pot, not tea pot. Tea pots are shorter. Most China sets back in the day had both. Lovely!
You are so inspirational! I have similar taste and you’ve inspired me to do a zinnia fennel arrangement in a brass pot with my glass frog (that I’ve never used before!) Thank you!🥰🥰
1st time to comment although I have followed for some time. I adore your entire haul. Everything you found is right up my alley. Warm, cozy and oh so inviting. My garden took a big hit this year. Squirrels, gophers and extremely hot weather. So I really enjoyed your lovely space! I’ll try again next year. Thank you Kelsey for sharing .
Love all of your antique finds. Where I live never seem to find copper or brass items. Your flower arrangement turned out beautiful. I really enjoyed a different kind of video this time. Thanks for sharing.
Greetings from the west coast! I want to say I enjoy watching your videos and I learn so much from you even though I am not a homesteader. I am enjoying your newer videos on antiquing and I loved your flower display. It turned out so lovely. I am a thrifter and reseller. I love your garden and all the beautiful flowers. I last saw your video as you spoke of the terrible chicken coup experience and how you related to your children. That just sounded so dramatic. I also watch your Costco runs & other shopping trips. Well keep the videos coming as I enjoy everything you do. Take care!
I'm team shiny! If you change your mind, Barkeeper's Friend powder is absolutely miraculous for restoring to a bright shiny finish. (No scrubbing needed!) *Miraculous*
I remember the days when I would go antiquing. Such fun finding treasures from times past. I too love copper and other metals. I would put a canning jar or something similar in a tea pot/kettle and put flowers in it. That way if the old container had pin holes it, it didn’t leak out. I can totally see a little vignette with the pewter pieces on a tray. And the chicken cookie cutter❣️ Great finds friend, thanks for sharing! 🤗
Loved the sifter so much, I am in Australia and my mum had one when I was a child. Loving your hair and top also! PS that flower 🌺 arrangement was so pretty.
I love antiquing and I love copper! My house is ridiculously full so I rotate things. I wish I could share pictures with you🤓🥰 I love all styles and prefer to buy things I can still use.
Beautiful finds & at great prices too! 😮 Love going thrifting & antiquing! So jealous of your copper pot collection, I’ve been on the hunt for just one, but refuse to pay $45 which are the prices in my area. Guess I need to go further north 😂
Hello , I just stumbled across your channel and I seen an item in your thrifted haul it is the sifter with the apples I have the exact same one and I wouldn’t take nothing for it! It was my mother’s she sifted flour for biscuits home made cakes and pie crust. You have a gem thanks to seeing this one your RUclips channel tube video is why I watched and subscribed to your channel. This is my second video I have watched but I love watching your channel already your content is awesome❤ Thanhs for sharing and have a blessed day😊
I'm here....I'm here... {...doing the road runner beep beep and drifting around the corner of the hall to get into the computer room....} I had to run out and help a small business out by buying all their organic, non-pesticide, eco-savvy store, sell out of their large, most of the medium tomatoes and a few cucumbers.... After Covid everyone is hurting...but you can still find great stores to purchase healthy choices.... {.... Yes, I must confess... yes, it was a tiny itty bitty road stand that is way out of most peoples way, but the money is going to the kids dental bills ..... } Now I have my tea and breakfast and will give myself grace to just sit, eat, and enjoy your company. Hugs from Esquimalt and enjoy the giggle
That teapot came from an auction in Leesport years and years ago. I never really looked it up so I'm not sure what the pattern is... I just knew I liked it 😂
Beautiful last quote, thank you. You certainly have a good eye for antiquing. Have you tried the flower frog in a vase? May I ask, what are your favourite flowers for cutting? I ask because my husband and I have just taken over an allotment here in the UK, we intend on growing food to give away to families that are struggling financially, but one thing I am keen on doing is making up little bunches of flowers to bless families. Love your channel Kelsey, you too have a blessed week
Oh I love this so much! What a beautiful thing to do for others! I personally love zinnias, snapdragons, lisianthus, sweet Annie, salvia, feverfew, sage, cress, just to name a few off the top of my head. I actually don’t own a regular old case haha, I need to look for some. I tend to go for the unlikely vessels ☺️ Blessings ❤️❤️❤️
Hi I thought I would just pop on and say that I wouldn't use the pewter dish as a candleholder. Pewter melts easily by candle flame. Have first hand knowledge of this unfortunately.
I also love Pewter. My grandmother has a dish, like the one you want to turn into a candle, that looks very much like yours. She will often fill it with little candies like M & M's and sit them on end tables when company comes over. My father had a brass cinder pot that looks similar to the one you showed for removing hot cinders and ash from the fireplace safely. They don't heat by wood and the fireplace is used for enjoyment.
Got a question for you. Have you ever freeze dried pumpkin and made it into powder? I am looking to buy some to make DIY pumpkin spice latte or warm milks for my kiddos. I am just curious if freeze drying changes the flavor. My little one and I enjoy watching you and your family each week. God Bless!!
Hi Kelsey, I have a teapot almost identical to the one you just bought. The pattern looks identical. Mine says it’s Gustavsberg (Sweden) Bla Blom pattern. Check it out. Hope that helps! Great haul, btw!
It was hard for me to concentrate on the gorgeous antique finds because of your BLOUSE! So pretty on you! I went to the website, do you mind saying if the sizing is true to size?
Aw thank you! I recently got it and love it! Trying to add some quality timeless pieces a little at a time. I’m wearing a small, I’m a 34B and it fits me perfectly, there isn’t a whole lot of give in the bust itself but the waist is stretchy! I’d say true to size ☺️❤️
I don’t do instagram But would love your friends ESTY link. I have all my father’s navy uniforms from the 40’s and would love to make something with them that I can display.
Like your content, however I encourage you to review your videos and count your filler sounds like uhmmm. It is very annoying for the listener. Feel free to breathe between words and stay focused on the beneficial words. Silence is okay between sentences. Continue to improve your speaking skills and grow in your business. Hugs.
“Controlled Chaos “ You are my hero ❤❤❤
Gees, Kelsey, Im looking at these comments and thinking you got a bunch of soul sisters that would not be disappointed if you did more antique videos.😎
Lol I’d love to incorporate it more! Thanks for being here! ❤️
@seedandsparrowhomestead…I love the color of your kitchen cabinets. Can you please share what that is? Thank you ❤
Floral frog work best a the top of the vessel. It helps position the stem in the vessel. ❤
Yes! Definitely liked it better that way!
Came here to say the same thing. They are great at the top of long vases, where the stems are long.
Thanks! I’ve never actually seen them used. I have quite a few antique ones, now I know how to use them.
I love copper, but i like the bright shiny polished look.
Oh my goodness! Love, love, love! You got some great deals! I'm team patina 🥰
The flower frog fits your small vessel just right. When you put water in it wouldn’t work properly in the larger one as it’s not meant to sit at the bottom of a vessel. Oh love th3 copper tea pots
Love the flower arrangement and all your beautiful finds!

That arrangement of the zinnias was so cute ❤ just perfect
Thank you! It did end up cute!
The last teapot with the spout that comes off, has a whistle in the spout.
We would use the topper in the smaller pot. U.K. Or sit on top of pot with stems through. 😊😊
I think the smaller bouquets are beautiful ❤

Yay! I need some more cupboards! I’ve been on the hunt for another hutch, I’ll need more space soon lol. 🤗

The floral arrangements are just lovely 🥰
You have amazing taste. I love all of your finds!
I loved this video and the flowers. Love the education you add into it.
Thanks so much! ❤️
That sifter with 🍒 on it very old. I'm 67yo and my grandmother used one like that. Beautiful finds
Both arrangements are beautiful 🌸
First time at your channel… love the flower arrangement!
Aw thank you! So glad you are here ☺️🤗❤️
So many beautiful things....I believe the white pot is a coffee pot, not tea pot. Tea pots are shorter. Most China sets back in the day had both. Lovely!
The floral arrangement is gorgeous!
Girl, you hit the jackpot!!!!!
Love all your finds!
Patina all the way!!!!!
Patina is my favorite but I like both.
Great additions to your home! Beautiful flowers and bouquet! ♥️🇺🇸♥️
Thanks so much! ❤️
You are so inspirational! I have similar taste and you’ve inspired me to do a zinnia fennel arrangement in a brass pot with my glass frog (that I’ve never used before!)
Thank you!🥰🥰
Love th3 flour sifter
Wonderful finds. Your floral arrangement is beautiful.
More than pretty! It's gorgeous!
I love the little floral arrangement. Beautifully done. I'm team patina all the way! I love all my brass and copper pieces.
Very pretty arrangement! Love it. Nice haul too. Enjoyed this. Val C ❤️🙏🏻
The last copper 'tea pot' is a whistling kettle. Patina for me.
Yes, it looks like it is a whistling teapot!
Never seen anyone actually use a floral frog for flowers 🌸 thought it was super cute!
Your floral arrangement is beautiful! You might have been disappointed, but we weren't!~

Enjoyed seeing all of your finds. I love different metals. The teapots were gorgeous. Thank you for sharing with us all. Have an amazing week. ❤
Thanks so much for watching! ❤️🤗

Oh I love putting flowers in teapots! Great tip with the mason jar! Thanks for watching friend! Blessings 🤗☺️❤️
Love the patina
I love the tea pot 👌✨💙✨
Loved the sifter so much, I am in Australia and my mum had one when I was a child. Loving your hair and top also! PS that flower 🌺 arrangement was so pretty.
I would place your style at cottage style and it is lovely! Mine is prim/cottage/Victorian overtones!!
Beautiful flower 🌼
Love the brass and copper finds!!! I love that bigger copper brass pot, im on the hunt for one similar ❤️
I can’t get enough! Love incorporating it all over! ❤️❤️❤️
I love antiquing and I love copper! My house is ridiculously full so I rotate things. I wish I could share pictures with you🤓🥰 I love all styles and prefer to buy things I can still use.
Lol! I love that, I too rotate some things out!
Love seeing your finds ❤ arranging my early spring blooms is all I get to do now while trying to not rush spring on so we can have more veg 😂
Thanks so much! More blooms will come! ☺️🤗❤️
Love the mixed metal copper pot!
The teapots are gorgeous! I’d rather have a nice polish on things. I also like putting old things to use…maybe because I am old. 😂💁
Thank you! I may polish them up a bit, still undecided!
That’s funny, I’m old and I’m just the opposite, I like old and crusty and patina.
The first bowl you show is a Scottish quaich used at weddings and new year.
Zinnias look beautiful
Those flowers look amazing! I love antiquing and traditional bits and bobs for the home.
Thanks so much! ❤️
New subscriber here. ❤❤❤ loved this video.
Yay! Welcome new friend ☺️❤️
Patina for sure 👍
Very nice presentation👍
Thanks! ☺️

You described me to a “T”! Loved this video!
Great finds. But at my age, I don't need more things. It is time to reduce.

Shlumped
This is adorable and you have a calling if you ever wanted to open a floral store front....
Hugs from Esquimalt

Lol. Sounds like me, Don’t care about the details so much, just know what I like 😂❤️

Hi I thought I would just pop on and say that I wouldn't use the pewter dish as a candleholder. Pewter melts easily by candle flame. Have first hand knowledge of this unfortunately.
Do you know what zinnia variety you planted? I love the height and size of the stems, the colors too.
Loved your antique finds.
Great finds.
Thanks! ☺️ ❤️
would have the brass pan filled with cones by the fire
I also love Pewter. My grandmother has a dish, like the one you want to turn into a candle, that looks very much like yours.
