I recently discovered your channel and I love it. It's exciting to see what you can find in your area. Since I'm from Switzerland, the two framed pictures caught my eye. The originals were made by the Swiss artist Albert Anker. The boy's picture is called "School boy with slate board in a winter landscape". There is a matching picture of a girl. The picture is called "Albert Anker schoolgirl with slate and sewing basket, 1878". I posted this comment already, but it was deleted twice. Hope it works this time.
I aggred with you, it's painful when people destroy vintage/ antique pieces; i know they bought it with their money and no one should have a say so on it but uggggg it is painful to see antiques being painted or unpainted 😭😭😭😭 I love all your Christmas decor treasures. 😍
What a fun haul! The platter stamped Noble Excellence was actually sold in Dillards department store I'd say between maybe 2005 and the next several years. It was part of a set where the plates and other items had different patterns but they all went together. The set had a number of completer items, such as your platter. So pretty!
I can never see to downsize with christmas. I have quite the collection myself of vintage christmas. I start listening to christmas music in September. Basically it's christmas from September till January 🤣

Oh gosh! Those wicker bells could so be "dressed up" in so many ways.after all,they are bells,which are musical right?? Maybe photocopy some music sheets and cut them up,roll them into small scrolls,leaving a bit of the printed part showing(rolled back a bit) add some greenery,mini jingle bells maybe.ribbon.glue to space between two bells!! That Carolers shawl was likely used in a play in live theater or for a musical production.
There is or was a product called Dryel that is used for anything that could be sent to the cleaners, I use it for anything I can't throw in the washer! Its 👍
Love the little drink napkins. Pretty aprons. Red shoulder wrap is amazing! Love, love the train case and good price! I like the reindeer salt and pepper shakers. You have an eye for decorating. Espresso set is too cute.

I wish I would have started collecting vintage Christmas when I was younger. Gave so much away when my grandparents passed. You will have a great collection in 15 years or more. Don't feel guilty. A lot of these items will not be around. Get then now while you can. Great video.

Loved this. It made me want to get out thrifting. I used to go all the time but don't have that much time these days. You have some great treasures there. I have an entire collection of vintage winking Santa mugs and even a pitcher I found years ago locally. And I know I got everything very cheaply. It is one of my favorite Christmas decor items. Ps. Spray the silver deer salt and pepper shakers with gold metallic paint or use rub and buff in brass on them. Easy fix.

If you don't want to paint the silver deer, I'd suggest using multiple layers of gold wax...I think it's called Rub- N- Buff.

The dates on your postcards can be found in the postmark. The one you said wasn't dated, looks like it's 1909.
I got a Santa mug from goodwill last year and paid like $2. He doesn’t have much paint anymore just a touch on the eye I think but he’s legit vintage
I found five of them at goodwill a few years ago and they have barely any paint left at all, but I still love them!!

I just found a 4 piece set of vintage Santa mugs with the letters NOEL as the handles for $12.00. I saw online that they are asking $99.99 for them.
