Thanks for sharing! I stutter too. Caitlyn's idea of telling yourself that you are just talking and not facing danger is smart. Before a conversation begins, it can feel like you are approaching a brick wall. It really is a battle or even a storm! You two inspire me to keep fighting.
When I make a RUclips video I usually cut out the parts where I stutter because I’m afraid of being judged. Yet you guys are so much more braver than I am, you guys are awesome
Great interview. Thanks to both of you. So many interesting observations to think about and your positivity is infectious. So many people will gain strength from this interview, myself included. Thanks for posting. 👍
Great video!! I've started a RUclips channel and I have talked about my stutter and ways I control it. And people can't grasp that I'm comfortable with my stutter.
Being a stutterer for 60 years, I felt like a freak. But, now I am so thankful that it shaped my life for good, as I became more observant than talkative. Talk is cheap, and most people are 'all talk'! I am now glad to be in such good company, and thank God to be 'me', and not someone else. Prayer helps the most... because God 'looketh on the heart'. Now I'm not ashamed at all...hmmm
I myself am 62 yrs old and still fight with mild blocks but the impediment is there. I noticed UR a praying person if U get a chance read Isaiah32 verse 4 it’s a scripture about stammering/ I apply that scripture to my life to bring encouragement.
@@xavierjaviervela8028 Yes, that is 'marvelous in our eyes'! Matt.6:6 made me see that people are the 'anxiety' and not a grace-giving Father, and His Son a great high priest (Heb.4:15--5:2). Reading the Word calms every storm of anxiety, knowing Who is in control...
There's been a bunch of research on stuttering, it's not so much of a mystery any more. It's a neuro-developmental condition in most cases. The genetic component is about 50%. One in a hundred people stutter. The male:female ratio for PWS is about 9:1, so higher than the 75% you quoted.
Proud of you guys...believe me it gets easier...make sure you are surrounded by good people

Blessings to both U young ladies & remember Jesus loves U & understands the frustrations that come with the speech impediment 😇
Amazing. Which I'd had the guts to do this at your age (although YT didn't exist then :-) ). Well done, ladies. More please.
Keep going tèa 🙌🏼
