Active Foam is my favorite too. My garage and driveway smells so dang good after using it. I love how little you have to use of it. Such value in it. Thanks Josh!
Thanks for this comparison!! I can't see any difference, to be honest. I've always used CarPro products, but for tires, I've always used Adams' Wheel & Tire Cleaner, which does an excellent job too. Yesterday, I ordered both the Gyeon Tire Cleaner and the CarPro ReTyre. I'm glad to know that, at least, they are both good products. I guess we won't be disappointed to use either one.
I went to the gyeon day in Sydney and they're great guys and their products are great too. But still leaning towards carpro. But the fact they're at Repco now makes like easier when buying gyeon
In Europe (Slovakia) is Gyeon 1L for 13€ and Carpro 14€. Overall I started with Gyeon products but I switched to Carpro. They deliver always 25% more performance. I had bought both cleaners and results were same as yours :)
Thanks for the video as always. Just curious if you could test the MIRCH grime off and Dragon Blood if posssible as they just released V2 for both these products. Want to see how much of an improvement they are.
When taking regions into account, CarPro ReTyre is actually cheaper here. So CarPro would be my pick. Especially when bought in 4ltr. Also, most detail video's I've watched use way to much of it, there's no need to coat the entire tire in foam. And if you don't like the foaming, you could always use something like the Canyon triggers or repack it into another sprayer.
Tw cleans tires really well. Wasteful to use it on wheels. Got mine at Supercheap when they had club deal across the TW line. $25 I think. I wouldn't buy it again unless on sale when a strong APC does the same thing at much lower cost.
I love using meguiar's hot rims wheel & tire cleaner. It has a great browning effect and gives the tire a nice new and matte appearance!. Even without rubbing with a brush it gives good results to the tires. I don't know if the D143 version detailer non-acid wheel & tire cleaner and the same in gallon?. I would so love to have the same result as the consumer version but in gallons!!
Have you tried the Shine Supply Wise Guy tyre cleaner? Waxit sell it in a 3.8L bottle for around $64 (I wouldn't bother with the 473mL size as its way less economical). I usually dilute Wise Guy 50:50 with water and its still one of the best tyre cleaners that I've used to date. I'd be keen to see it go head to head with some of these products as I reckon it would be a strong contender. Great work with the video mate.
The test i have searched numerous times nobody did it till now, here in germany there is almost no price difference between the two Gyeon 14€ CarPro 16€ they both perform well
@@EvolvedDetails I would probably go with carpro too, maybe I'd have to change the sprayer to a regular one. The usage of the product is very high with the foamer
Surely a few sprays on to the brush, a light scrub then let dwell is enough. With that much product it all gets knocked off as soon as you brush it anyway. Hmm
I generally overuse products in videos to get best results. But if I didn't I'm sure I'd have someone saying I don't use enough so it wasn't a fair test

Yeah both are fantastic products, I love the carpro more for its foaming but that's just better for user experience not really affecting performance
Carpro for me. But it's too expensive. Would be interested to see if you put retyre on the gyeon side and vice versa to see if it pulls more out
Yeah I think it's a little pricey for a tyre cleaner and the Gyeon is a at a great price
Love CarPro products. Only buying when on sale 20% with free shipping 4l . Works out $12.5 for 500ml . Gyeon have not seen bulk or any special for it.

Wow I wish they were the same price here as if so I'd buy the carpro more regularly.
Thanks for watching
Would like to see Shinesupply Wise Guy vs. CarPro Retyre.
That would be a good one for sure. I'll try to get onto it soon
Thanks for the video as always.
Just curious if you could test the MIRCH grime off and Dragon Blood if posssible as they just released V2 for both these products. Want to see how much of an improvement they are.
I have a fair bit of Grime off and dragon v1 to get through first but once I run out I'll likely buy some v2 of both and test them out

Yeah I'm definitely guilty of using too much product haha
nice to see a comparison but no one ever shows the tire completely dry to see if the browning was truly reduced
I have done in previous videos like this so maybe I should remember to in future tests like this
I just bought some of the CarPro recently but am yet to try it. Was wondering how it would compare to TW Hybrid, which also works really well.
Yeah they TW has definitely a better tyre cleaner than wheel cleaner, they should have just sold it as one.
Might compare them one day
@@EvolvedDetailsI'm with you on that one. I only use it on tyres as you go through a lot of product if you are cleaning wheels as well.

I have a feeling it is the same product but not 100% sure but yeah both are great and have used them at different times over the years

No I haven't yet but it's been on my list to try for a while now, only hear great things about it
Great video mate something aittke different tested is good to see
Thanks mate
What if you put a foam nozzle on the Geon?
Could end up with the same result as the carpro for sure
mate great video as always just my input but i think Adams tyre and rubber cleaner beats both would be a good video to see
I haven't used that Adams product but might have to check it out
If you take away the foaming aspect and look at performance and price the gyeon is a clear winner
Completely agree
Try FX Protect Tire and Rubber Cleaner
I'll have to check it out thanks
Put a regular spray head on the retyre and it can’t be beat - I use it with a shine supply spray bottle
That's a great idea for sure
The test i have searched numerous times nobody did it till now, here in germany there is almost no price difference between the two Gyeon 14€ CarPro 16€ they both perform well
Yeah I was shocked I didn't find a video on it either.
With no price difference I'd go the Carpro for sure then as I love the foaming aspect

Think another channel did a tyre thing and turtle wax new one was the best.
Ah ok I'll probably do a few more head to heads and definitely use the turtle wax one then and see
Gyeon ftw
Definitely packs a punch for the price
👍
