Not quite, Ramses reign lasted until his death in 1213 BC. He was 90 at the time, and considering the movie version of Ramses appears to be in his late twenties to early thirties, his "career" has got decades to go.
And lineage
Spyro Frost from what I understand, he was actually one of Egypt’s more successful Pharaohs, despite all the bad press he got.
I feel like the ominous "thus saith the lord" chanting should've been kept in.

Funny thing that I actually watched this movie the other day. Probably one of the most powerful and amazing movies animated during the 90s.
My dentist always used to play it in the waiting room when I was a kid so I almost associate it with teeth cleaning now 😂

Ironically I was singing this when this coronavirus reared it's ugly head. But it really fits with what is happening All around the world. It reminds me of how God can be pretty terrifying and how He is so good at getting our attention in a big way especially when we least expect it. It's like when I hear people say "that will never happen to me" then it happens to them somehow someway. Whenever I listen to this song I'm never going to look at it the same way again because it will make me think of this coronavirus outbreak not just the plagues of egypt.

I get the whole “can’t make an epic version of the most epic song” comments but this is definitely the best purely instrumental cover I’ve seen and sometimes that’s what you want.

(I could go all day but in my opinion that’s one of the most powerful scenes in the movie)

I couldn't agree more, that scene was the moment where you knew that from then on Rameses and Moses would be at loggerheads with each other, no longer brothers but rivals.
The Key when he said slaves after Moses says that Seti’s hands bore the blood of thousands of children Ramses actually scoffed not laughed. I know that because I have watched that movie over a thousand times.
Brittany Barthel believe me I’ve watched it since I was a little girl (I’m 22 now) and I know what it was, just at the time I was writing I couldn’t think of the correct word (sometimes people will have a brain fart moment in their lives) so “laugh” was the closest I could think of. So thank you very much for the correction...
