The Prince of Egypt is such an underrated movie. One of the best of all time.
Right? I loved how they animated the water (and really just everything)

Even as an adult, the Prince of Egypt is still my favorite film. The songs are all incredible, the animation still holds up beautifully, and it is a wonderful adaptation of the Biblical story.

its a nice version of the song. but the original is much more epic. you have the challenge of making something that is already epic to a higher version of that. if it means that we will need to wait longer for better cover, I think everyone here willing to do so.
"epic" music is not the more epic version of the music. epic music is a genre that sounds trailerish with hybrid orchestra. if you're looking for the more epic version of it listen to original, if you want to listen to the song in epic genre, then here you go
this is ironic cz people like you judge the original better than this version as if you know music while you have no idea the actual meaning of "epic" context for this kind of music. your opinion is invalid
I don't mean to sound mean or anything but I think the music is okay. It's a cover that loses a bit due to the melody itself which the high point of the song, being lost or without power. Of course not having the voice can cause this. As a trailer song. Very good.
I still think certain things within the melody could be accentuated or made more prominent. It loses some strength I think.
